I know summer is almost over when I find myself starting to look for shoes to wear in the fall. These studded ankle booties called “Otway” by Isabel Marant have been on my wish list for months now, but as with most of the things on my wish list, they are way out of my budget let alone the fact that they aren’t even out yet.

Rosegold “Halle” Studded Ankle Boots

UPDATE (10/05/2009): Look at this knockoff version by Rosegold and try to spot the difference between this one and the Isabel Marant boots. These booties are as close as you can get to the original. However, a knockoff this great comes at a price: $275. Yup, that’s pretty expensive, but probably still at least a few hundred dollars cheaper than the original. If you have the cash, why not spend it on these awesome knockoffs?

Jeffrey Campbell “Us” Studded Ankle Boots

Kudos to Jeffrey Campbell for always finding the right shoes to knock-off. Someone over there is doing his/her homework. Their “Us” studded booties are obviously a tribute to Isabel Marant’s booties. I just wish the heel would look more like the original. Available in black suede or black leather.

Steve Madden “BLITZI” Ankle Boots

HOT DEAL: Use promo code “SMSEP1” to get 15% off orders of $80+ or “SMSEP8” for 20% off orders of $125+ at Steve Madden including free shipping! Offer valid through 09/30/2013. Some exclusions apply.

Steve Madden seems to have sniffed a trend here as well and decided to make their own interpretation of the ankle booties. The heel of their booties is higher and brown instead of black, but everything else is pretty much identical. Comes also in brown suede.

  • How I wish I could afford the real thing. The SM copy is great!

  • Diamonds, I SO agree with you. Love the “Otway” booties like mad. What a shame high fashion always comes at a price.

Sienna vs. Li Lo contest hardly fair as this is a professionally posed shot for Li Lo. Usually she looks pretty bad. but I voted for her on this occasion. I like the boot but am not crazy about it. I don’t think it is very flattering around the ankle.

  • Crystal has these this month too! In black or grey. But they have gold studs instead of silver. Only $40 though. Found your blog by looking for this pair and another pair you posted about.
