Real vs. Steal – Emilio Pucci Multi-Strap Open-toe Sandals

OK, first off I’d like to make clear that these Emilio Pucci sandals below are not the exact shoes I meant to feature as the “real deal”, but they are the only ones I found which come relatively close to the Emilio Puccis I do actually mean. Take a look at the Zoe Saldana pictures further down show to see which shoes have been driving me insane for months now. Obsessed doesn’t even remotely describes just how much I adore & want these heels. Problem is: they aren’t even out yet (also might never will be, because Zoe’s version could have been a modified one-of-a-kind pair). And even IF they were available, I’m very positive I couldn’t afford them.

Zoe Saldana Loves Emilio Pucci

Zoe Saldana has come to be one of my heaviest girl crushes this year after I’ve seen her in the most lustworthy red carpet getups during her Star Trek promo tour this spring. Her red Prabal Gurung number which she wore to the Berlin premiere in April was by far my favorite. She was head-to-toe perfection and in true shoe addict manner I’ve fallen head over heels for her black strappy sandals. So gorgeous, right?

Bebe “Trish” Satin Sandals

Bebe did a good job on copying Zoe’s heels. I instantly recognized the inspiration behind these strappy satin sandals. They have a platform and also two straps less than the Emilio Pucci heels, but they still look a lot like Zoe’s heels. If you prefer a funkier version, the shoes come also in fuchsia satin, bronze snake print and black leather.
