So you hate looking like one of the crowd. The Cal Wedges below are a great example of the type of shoe you can expect from this label: functional, but kind of like a wearable piece of abstract art.

Rosegold “Shawna” Wedge Booties

Yes, I did write “lower-end” when I referred to the $354 Elizabeth and James wedges above, and technically they are; the Olsens have another line, The Row, which has significantly higher price points. So how lucky are we that Rosegold has its own even lower-end version of the Cal: “Shawna” Wedge Booties. They’re are a great investment for Spring 2010, because they incorporate two trends from the shows in one statement-making sandal: neutrals like beige and drab olive, and the arty wedge. Available in beige and black.
