Real vs. Steal – Cynthia Vincent Kala Cutout Ankle Boots

by Vahni on February 14, 2010

Just a few days ago, I wrote that cutouts and peek-a-boo details in fashion are on the rise—and lo and behold, another cutout bootie has surfaced. Think this pair by Cynthia Vincent is nice? Check out the lower-priced (and even more gorgeous) version we found below.

Pelle Moda “Tammi” Cutout Booties

OK, a confession. I love these Pelle Moda booties not only because the price point is reasonable and they are super hot, but because I actually own them in black. And since I’ve test driven them in real life, I can tell you that they look equally good with leggings, a mini dress and tights, or rolled-up boyfriend jeans. Aside from buttery soft suede and good proportions, what makes this pair look so fantastic on is that they are cut very close to the ankle—so if you have skinny ankles and have had difficulty finding booties without excessive gaping at the ankle, this pair is for you.
