Real vs. Steal – Christian Louboutin Pigalle Crystal Encrusted Stiletto Pumps

by Irina on July 5, 2010

UPDATE: This post has been updated on July 05, 2010. Scroll down to see the new add.

OMG! I’m out of words. If I had to describe these gold strass stiletto pumps by Christian Louboutin with 3 words, mine would be SEX – DIVA & DANGER. No need for a foreplay if you’re wearing these heels. I probably could walk (or rather stand) in these a mere 5 minutes at most, but it’d be sooo worth it. Too bad they’re out of my budget. Even though I don’t know the exact retail price I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere around $2.000. Bummer!

Charlotte Russe Glitter Pumps

If you love Christian Louboutin’s crystal encrusted Pigalle stilettos just as much, but don’t have a fortune to spend either, why not opt for these very budget-friendly glitter pumps by Charlotte Russe instead? They would look lovely with a red or black dress (see Fergie above), don’t you think? Sooo gorgeous. But don’t be fooled by their cuteness; the arch on these is pretty high and the stiletto heel will bend your feet towards the sky, so always have a second pair of comfy flats or flat heeled shoes on hand. Available in either gold, silver or black.

Can’t get any cheaper than $25! And you won’t feel guilty after the purchase or when the style goes out.

I just found some shoes very similar at a store I shop at sometimes. They have gold glitters pumps like those, but the glitter is much finer which makes the shoes look more expensive.

ENJOY!!

Awesome find, Angie. Thanks for sharing!

I personally prefer the rounded toe over the pinty one, I find it more flattering, and I’m not really into glittery soes because that automatically makes them “too dressy” for most of your wardrobe, but aside from that, they are truly GORGE!

Where the heck is the platform? Can people actually walk in those? :-O

The authentic Louboutin’s worn by Sara Jessica Parker and Fergie retailed for right around $3,000. The shoes are completely encrusted in genuine crystals. I was fortunate to be able to snatch up a pair. The silver was my favorite, but the gold was left in my size. If you are absolutely crazy for them, you can find at least one pair left on eBay. It is the real thing, too.

When I saw these shoes for the first time, I literally fainted. I’m what you would call a frugal Imelda Marcos. :) )
