Real vs. Steal – Christian Louboutin Dillian Pumps

by Irina on July 18, 2010

UPDATE: This post has been updated on July 18, 2010. Scroll down to see the new adds.

Christian Louboutin‘s “Dillian” pumps were designed for 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Spring 2009 collection. I love the shape of the pumps, but the big petal/ruffle thing on the front makes me rather hesitant as it’s so big it could easily drown your feet. Still loving them? If you have about 2k of spare cash, you’re good to go.

Vince Camuto “Marcia” Pumps

UPDATE (11/25/2009): Here’s another great alternative to the Christian Louboutin “Dillian” pumps by Vince Camuto. They come in either black, stone or purple suede (found via The Look 4 Less).

Dollhouse “Soleil” Ruffled Pumps

Scary price, no? However, if you’re not afraid of ruffles and want heels in the style of the Louboutins, this is your chance to satisfy your budget-friendly designer shoe dreams. Dollhouse’s “Soleil” or “Soliel” Mary Jane pumps are almost identical, even the ginormous petal on the front is spot on. The pumps come either in black or purple.

Giselle, I agree that the Dillian pumps are not to everyone’s taste. I have a love/hate relationship with them. LOVE them on Leighton for example, but hate them on Christina Milian.

I love, love, love these shoes. Were these not the shoes that were made for Britney in her Chasing Amy Video? Except hers were in red. Are the Dollhouse real leather???

InTheirCloset September 23, 2009 at 6:51 PM

@Lourdes: Yes, Britney wore the Louboutins in orange/red. The Dollhouse pumps are faux leather by the way.

Hey In Their Closet! Love your blog – I recently found it and it’s now on my must-read list for sure.

I just wanted to let you know that those Marcia booties you listed? Well, they come in a pretty beige “Stone” color as well! you have them listed only in purple and black, but I know that Heels.com (my website!) is about to start carrying them in all three colors. That pretty beige color on all the ladies wearing Loubotins – even the color can be replicated with the Vince Camutos.

I’m a big fan of them, I remember thinking they were lovely high quality shoes when I was describing them for the website.

Anyways, love the site! xoxo

I love these shoes however they only look good in blush. The black ones look cheap unless it the Louboutin.

Off topic, but does anyone know the details on the striped purse that Ciara is carrying in the pic? Love that.
