Real vs. Steal – Charles Anastase Spring 2009 Wooden Platforms

by Celine on February 12, 2012

Update: This post has been updated on February 12, 2012. Scroll down to see the new add.

These amazing platforms are from Charles Anastase‘s S/S 2009 show but I guess I’m a little behind the curve because I only just discovered them. While I can’t imagine anyone actually wearing them (how did the models not break their necks strutting down the runway?) I do find them aesthetically pleasing. If only that heel was just a little shorter and I think we would have ourselves a winner.

UPDATE (02/12/2012): I never considered See by Chloé to be a brand that would copy someone else’s work, but the inspiration behind these platform sandals is quite obvious, isn’t it? Available in blush and black.

Jessica Simpson “Dany” Platform Sandals

I was SO happy to find these Jessica Simpson “Dany” platform sandals. They are everything the originals are but in a much more digestible form. A slightly lower heel makes them more wearable and the budget-friendly price tag means you don’t have to think twice about bringing these bad-boys home.

i really do love JS sandals but unfortunatelly tan colour is sold out everywhere!! as for me pewter version is too shiny isnt it?

  • I have been searching high and low for these, nothing! Sold out everywhere, ughhhhh…… Help us!!

  • Hey guys! What sizes are you looking for? And what color? Olya, I actually love the dark pewter. I’ve seen some pictures with girls wearing them and I think they look awesome.

Kristy – I’m going to conduct a little search.

  • Wooden sandals are looking pretty nice, but I have different thought for it.

Do wooden sandals give comfort like regular sandals in day to day life?
Wearing wooden sandals is not a great idea you should wear it only if you want to invite neck pain.
