If I could only wear one designer for the rest of my life, without a doubt it would be Alexander McQueen. Lee Alexander McQueen was by far my favorite designer of all time and I was terribly shocked & incredibly heartbroken when I learned about his death last year. That’s why I am making it my mission this year to acquire my first Alexander McQueen item; be it a pair of heels, a bag or just one of his signature skull-print scarves. This spring we are celebrating the return of color! Well, Spring fashion is always pretty colorful, but this year I feel like designers have come to really appreciate all those beautiful vibrant colors like acid pink, lime green or cobalt blue. Especially in the footwear department. I’ve seen so many new colorful spring styles lately, it’s amazing. Neon pink seems to be one of the most used, trending colors for shoes now. Below you can see some of my top picks. Which leads me to my question: would you wear hot pink shoes? I admit it’s not for the faint of heart, but if worn with black/white/neutrals and accessorized with other neon accessories (in moderation, of course, e.g. a pink watch or matching pink lip maybe), I think it would make a really great statement look. But what do you think?
