There’s been quite a buzz around Brian Atwood’s diffusion line B Brian Atwood which features shoe styles half the price of his signature line. Most of the shoes are around the $300-350 mark which, unfortunately, is still a bit out of reach for me, but I might get lucky to get my BA shoe fix when those B Brian Atwood styles go on sale/clearance. Which, again unfortunately, sure won’t happen with these mixed metal platform pumps. Aren’t they just absolutely gorgeous? The shape is close to perfect and the metallic colors in this case complement each other rather than clashing with each other. Instant shoe love!

It’s been a while since I last featured a Heel of the Day here on this blog. This is mainly due to me feeling very uninspired by the shoes that came out lately. However, when I first laid my eyes on these stunning red high heel sandals by Boutique 9 my obsession with shoes was fully restored. Even more so when I saw the $140 price tag! What, $140 only? To me these heels look very designer to me. Color me impressed. And just for the record: I’m so going to buy these red heels. Just not right now. My current budget still hasn’t fully recovered from the Christmas craze that happened last month.

So I find these suede booties with a wooden platform by Madison Harding absolutely adorable. I love the tan suede color, the lace-up front, the sturdy wooden platform and the cute collared cuff. I’m just not feeling the $275 price tag. Boohoo, what a bummer!

HOT DEAL: Use code “ALIST1026” to get 25% OFF all clearance items! Ends 11/7.
Today’s Heel of the Day is rather simple in design, but I think this is actually one of the strengths of these Chinese Laundry zip ankle boots because it makes them so utterly versatile. Every woman needs a pair of basic ankle boots to reach for when nothing else seems to fit. Another strength would have to be the price. At $89.99 this bootie is already on sale down from $139.95 but you can currently save an additional 25% OFF all clearance items at Chinese Laundry which cuts the sale price down to a very affordable $67.49 and hence would explain why this bootie is also the Deal of the Day.

So aren’t these all-over laced platform booties that are part of Iris Van Herpen X United Nude collection super badass? I know a lot of you will probably just think WTF?, but I’m totally in love with these bondage-like babies. They almost look like they could be Alexander McQueen, don’t they? Too bad they’re way out of my shoe shopping budget because I’d love to flaunt these avantgarde booties, even if only in the comfort of my own home (seriously, 6 1/2 inch heel on a 1 1/2 inch platform, helloooooo?).
