I really admire Giuseppe Zanotti and his seemingly tireless creative mind. He brings out great heels season after season and I constantly find myself lusting over his various shoe creations. Case in point: these two-tone suede & satin platform pumps (pssst, don’t these totally look like Jimmy Choo’s Sepia Pumps?). A sleek and sexy high-heel pump that’s both classic yet modern. If you have an extra $375 laying around, these lovelies are currently available for 50% off!

Sole Obsession Hairpin-20 Platform Pumps

If you love the look of the Zanotti heels above, you might find these pumps by Sole Obsession to be a nice budget-friendly alternative. They have a black patent upper instead of suede and an extra strap, but the overall shoe design very much mimics the Zanotti look above.

UPDATE: This post has been updated on February 28, 2013. Scroll down to see the new add.

Giuseppe Zanotti is the man broadening my horizon in terms of shoe design. Why? Because in my mind I’ve never put crystals together with the colorblocking trend until I’ve seen the fabulous Zanotti heel below and now I feel like it might be the only way to wear crystals or colorblocking on your shoes. But oh hey, have you seen that enormous price tag of 1.495? Well, Signore Zanotti, sorry, but that’s not my kind of shopping budget…

Steve Madden “MASQRAID” Rhinestone Slingback Pumps

Now this is more like it! The colorblocking is different here, but the “inspiration” behind these rhinestoned Steve Madden slingbacks is pretty obvious, isn’t it? Need a fun party heel for the upcoming holidays? Might as well go for Madden’s budget version. Curious to see if more color options pop up during the next days.

Valentino has been one of the most trending designers throughout the fashion blogosphere and rightfully so. Though the gorgeous and edgy “Rockstud” collection made a huge impression this season – and probably next season – these Crystallized Suede Slingback Pumps are like the modern version of the “classy girl” shoe. Featuring a peep-toe with crystal lattice design, it is almost impossible to grasp how much detail was implemented in creating such an ornate design. Priced at $895, these heels are meant to be dreamt of for most of us, thus, we have a steal below!

Caparros “Farrah” Slingback Platform Pumps

These “Farrah” Slingback Platform Pumps by Caparros are very similar to the Valentinos, but adorned with an extra flower detail right above the peep-toe. At first sight these pumps may seem demure, but they are anything but simple. They feature a beaded, mesh lattice and beautiful slingback silhouette. You can wear these with formalwear such as dresses and skirts to create a subtle statement. The best part, aside from the beauty of these shoes, of course, is their budget-friendly price tag of $89! Also available in light pink (at Macy’s).

The iconic “Tribtoo” Pumps are still my all-time favorite shoe style from Yves Saint Laurent. Last year YSL (still refusing to cut out the Y from the SL) have updated this ever so coveted sky-high heel with a patent toe cap to be on par with the cap-toe trend which I absolutely loved! I wish I had the $795 to splurge on these beautiful pumps, but reality is against me!

bebe “Makaela” Patent Toe Cap Pumps

bebe had quite the success with their YSL Tribtoo inspired look-a-like “Liza”, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they’re trying to repeat this success again with their new Tribtoo cap-toe inspired version “Makaela”. I love this budget-friendly YSL alternative, so close to the original but so much cheaper than the designer version!

We’re slowly nearing March and I cannot tell how ridiculously excited I am to dust out all my spring and summer clothes! And even though the weather is not really cooperative yet, it doesn’t stop me from fantasizing about all the amazing spring arrivals that are starting to roll in into stores. Vince Camuto, for instance, has come up with a great S/S 2013 collection, I’m really loving all the latest shoe arrivals! And I especially love that heel height isn’t much of a big deal this season at Vince Camuto. Most of the spring arrivals have either non-existent or very manageable heels (many of them chunky ones which provide extra balance). I love when fashionable becomes comfortable, don’t you? Anyway, check out the latest collection below and start dreaming of spring yourself!
