Talk about colorblocking at its best, these “Straratata” Suede Sandals by Christian Louboutin are a fusion of vibrancy meets contemporary wear. This is a definite statement shoe, and both the strappy-ness and many colors are contributing elements of the extravagant and bold appearance. Though I love Christian Louboutin and his creative design, the price tag is simply way out of my budget. Not to mention, these sandals are already sold out, which is unsurprising as many celebrities have been sporting them. In spite of this, take a look at the steal below.

Jessica Simpson is one of the many celebrity designers which I have grew to praise mainly because I really do admire her shoe collection, and in addition I am fond of the Louboutin inspiration behind the design of the “Evangela” Criss Cross Sandals. Though it is arguable that her personal creativity is lackluster, I truly don’t mind as she brings the Louboutin feel minus the Louboutin price.

While Alexander Wang‘s Fall 2009 collection didn’t impress me much in terms of clothes I must admit I am quite fond of these buckled pointy ankle boots which were also a part of this collection. The other shoe styles were a bit too masculine for me, but the “Hanne” boot had just the right amount of edginess and badass punk. Sadly, they are also quite pricey at more than $1.200 a pair.

Wow! I can’t really describe these Christian Louboutin Duvette Metallic and Patent-Leather Pumps in any other way. Far away from demure, these pumps are reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour and spark nostalgia within me. There is something special about these pumps that I can’t quite get a grasp of. The cutouts embossed with gold truly bring luxury to the table, and as usual the sophistication of this shoe is what makes Louboutin so iconic. If you’re as head over heels for these pumps as I am, than the steal below is simply a must see!

UPDATE (10/05/2009): Look at this knockoff version by Rosegold and try to spot the difference between this one and the Isabel Marant boots. These booties are as close as you can get to the original.However, a knockoff this great comes at a price: $285. Yup, that’s pretty expensive, but probably still at least a few hundred dollars cheaper than the original. If you have the cash, why not spend it on these awesome knockoffs?

Thigh-high boots are dangerous territory because they can easily look… well, wrong. Think cheap-y and stripperish! But let’s not make a hasty judgment here because over-the-knee boots can also look super hot and fabulous. Case in point? These Christian Louboutin OTK boots. The suede tones them down while the lacing detail gives them a Victorian feel. This is thigh-high boots done right, but oh, $1.995 for a pair? I think I’ll have to pass this time!

The Yves Saint Laurent Baobab Python Wedge is a statement piece on its own as it can spice up any outfit. I adore the juxtaposition of the various colors; the olive and orange among the gray python creates a frivolous pattern adding more depth and texture to the overall appearance. Also, the sculpted heel is so artistic and fascinating to look at. These would make a great addition to my closet and perfectly coincide with my love of neutral toned clothing. Though a different color pattern, these shoes are definitely hot! With the magenta color and metallic undertone, you are destined to capture all of the attention. The sculpted heel is still very apparent just like in the YSL; the only thing that’s really missing would be the python print and a bit more straps. Other than that, the Jeffrey Campbell “FOR REAL” platforms are an identical match for $134.95. This steal is a sartorial sensation.
