When I first laid my eyes on Zara‘s studded ankle boots pictured below, I instantly fell in love with them! Many fashionistas around the world saw these studded booties as Zara’s ode to Chloé’s highly popular Susan boots and so it didn’t take very long until the Zara booties were completely sold out in every Zara store. Personally, I cyberstalked these booties for a few weeks, constantly hoping they would go on sale before my size became out of stock since $199 seemed way too expensive for a Zara shoe to me. Unfortunately, I never got lucky and the Zara booties never became mine. However, today I discovered these almost spot-on Zara dupes at DSW which look practically identical to the pricey Zara version but cost only $69.95 (which is approx. $130 less than the retail price of the Zara booties). The stud-embellishments aren’t quite as detailed on the Coconuts by Matisse booties and the sole is also differently colored, but the overall design is still very close to the Zara original. I must say I’m tempted.

Lace-Up heels are one of the biggest trends I have observed among fashion bloggers this year (see Song of Style, Nany’s Klozet and HelielyB for example). Black lace-up sandals with delicate cut-outs seem to have been especially popular among fashion connoisseurs. While I can’t afford the pricey designer version (Signore Giuseppe Zanotti, I love your for thesels!), I managed to find a pretty good alternative in the $129 Zara lace-up sandals shown below. Only downside? Sold out. Everywhere! However, today, while randomly browsing DSW’s new arrivals section, I stumbled upon these fabulous Zigi Soho heels below. Not only are they spot-on identical and readily available, they also happen to cost ~50% less than the Zara version! Yippie!

I’ve been in love with these suede DV by Dolce Vita booties ever since I first spotted them on my sister’s feet earlier this year. They looked so casual yet stylish and the quality was really great for the price she paid. I decided to get them for me as well, but being the frugal fashionista that I am I didn’t want to pay retail and so tried to wait for a promo or a discount code so I could get them for less. However, once the opportunity to save came along, the booties has gotten out of stock in my size. Boohoo! Luckily, I’ve found 2 faux leather alternatives that are even cheaper: Old Navy has a great look-a-like and Mossimo‘s “Kaelyn” bootie looks a whole lot like the “Jamison” as well. So if the real suede booties are out of stock in your size as well or you just want to save some cash, try one of these super budget-friendly alternatives below.
