There’s something about YSL shoes that always keeps me fascinated. I think it’s how most of their shoes have this chunky, awfully impractical platform and the resulting ultra-high stiletto heel that comes with such a platform shape. Perfect examples are the Tribute sandals, the infamous YSL Trib Two pumps and also these black suede platform sandals below which I find myself being quite fond of.

Bebe “Maya” Leather Cutout Sandals

For weeks I was desperately trying to identify these Bebe knockoffs. I think I already mentioned my knockoff intuition in a previous post. I knew that these platforms were designer knockoffs, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. The mystery is now finally resolved. If you prefer a different color and want to cut off the price by more than 50%, there is also a tiger-printed suede version of the Maya sandal available which is on sale for $38.49.

Celebrity Look 4 Less – Mila Kunis’ Red Versace Dress & Nude Jimmy Choo Pumps

I’ve grown quite fond of red dresses. So much that I own about 5 of them. There’s no need to shy away from this color and it flatters almost everyone (might be a bit tricky on redheads but not overly so)! When I wrote about Selena Gomez wearing an ASOS dress to the GRAMMY Nominations Concert back in December many of you seem to have found interest in Selena’s dress which is now long gone & totally sold out. And since I still get a lot of requests and traffic on this specific Selena look I decided to recreate her head-to-toe look on a budget look basis. I found a great and budget-friendly dress alternative coming from New Look, a UK fast fashion chain. They have very decent worldwode shipping fees (shipping to the US comes in at £7.50 which equals ~$12), so I decided to include it. And I also came across these fab Zanotti chiffon bow look-a-likes, but you have to be fast to snag a pair at LuLu*s because sizes keep selling out there.
