I’m not sure what I like best about Ashley Greene in this golden yellow D&G Strapless Silk-Satin Dress. The hot bod? The legs? The shiny hair? The heels? A combination of pattern and color that almost feels like leopard print? OK, this is futile. Let’s just tick all of the above and consider it done. Some people have a hard time wearing yellow. Ashley is apparently not one of them.

Salma Hayek made an appearance on Letterman this Monday to promote her newest film “Grown Ups“. And dare I say that Miss Hayek (I refuse to call her Mrs. Hayek-Pinault!) looked a-friggin’-mazing in an amethyst Alexander McQueen crepe dress paired with nude YSL Tribtoos (yup, they’re still going strong) and the obligatory “No paparazzi, please!” Ray-Ban aviator sunnies. I can’t even tell you just how much I adore this dress and how I love it on Salma. The vibrant color, the fact that it’s Alexander McQueen, how it hugs Salma’s delicious curves… a truly stunning look for the actress (♥)

Hollywood’s PYTs (= Pretty Young Things) are looking really good lately. First we had Miley Cyrus donning French Chic with clogs and now we have a fabulous laid-back red carpet outfit of Vanessa Hudgens. The Disney star rocked a Madewell suede biker jacket with a white peasant top, her favorite Nudie skinny jeans, matching slingbacks by Joie and a knuckle ring by Made Her Think at the Premiere of Disney California Adventure Park’s “World of Color” in Anaheim last week. I’m also crushing on V’s loose fishtail braid.

Miley Cyrus is not the first name coming to my mind when thinking about a stylish person. That’s mostly because every other time I see pictures of her she’s either wearing a skimpy stage outfit or denim cutoffs with a tank top and cowboy boots and well, let’s just say that this isn’t exactly my idea of a stylish person. But I recently stumbled upon these candid shots of Miley out & about in Toluca Lake doing her best French Chic look and I’m somewhat smitten with it. The songstress wore a striped Elizabeth and James pocket tee, a pair JET skinny jeans and yup, you guessed it right, a pair of so-hot-right-now Jeffrey Campbell “Charli” clogs. Her best accessory though? The arm candy aka boyf Liam Hemsworth. Yummy!

I’m not quite sure what to think of Katy Perry. She’s beautiful – almost doll like, strange (engaged to Russell Brand!) and her style is a bit schizophrenic. I love her retro/pin-up looks but some of her 80s outfits I could do without. I am equally as confused about the ASOS Sequin Sunset Vest Dress that Ms. Perry wore to the CW Network’s 2010 Upfront Presentation in New York last month. I actually kind of love the bright colors and am always partial to sequins but… well, it’s just not something I would ever actually wear. But that’s what makes Katy and I different. She loves bright, over-the-top scene stealers and I… don’t. Also, she is a celebrity and I am not. Regardless, she has a kick ass body and would undoubtedly look hot wearing a garbage bag. The End.

I do like Rachel Bilson‘s style, I really do. She definitely has one for that matter, not just a personal stylist on speed dial like certain other celebrities. You can see fashion is an important part of her life (she has her own column with InStyle after all). Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way; what I don’t understand is why some people overidolize her fashion sense. There are women who ooooh and aaaaah about every. single. one. of her outfits even if it only consisted of a worn-in tee and a pair of denim shorts. I can’t stand that kind of unnecessary overhyping (Mary-Kate Olsen and Sienna Miller anyone?).

Take this outfit for example which Rachel wore to a meeting a few days ago. I really dislike it in its entirety because a) I don’t think the 3.1 Phillip Lim romper (yes, it’s a romper) isn’t exactly flattering b) the brown Chanel bag doesn’t fit in with the all-black ensemble and c) nude shoes over black tights? Seriously, Rachel? It looks so weird and while I generally like me some contrasts this particular one I don’t. What I do like though are the nude Rag & Bone wedges Rachel is sporting here; they’re quite lustworthy actually. Also on sale. For 30% OFF. See below if you’re just as obsessed.

Since we got our first glimpse at Audrina Patridge on The Hills, her style has been trendy with an edgier/rocker influence. While filming a recent episode of the reality show in Los Angeles, Audrina gave her signature look a rest and put on something light, airy, summery and overall very feminine. Audrina’s silk dress is by Amanda Uprichard and the great thing about this designer is that if there’s a demand, she will work hard to meet it. Audrina’s dress sold out quickly, but has been re-cut so no one misses out.

I remember hearing a few months back that neon colors were THE “It” thing for summer and I also recall being totally unenthused by said statement. I mean, who looks good in neon green? A trendy color scheme I can totally get on board with, however, is the nude/blush tone trend. I have yet to see someone look bad in soft pinks, warm nudes and creamy beiges. AnnaLynne McCord demonstrated this fad perfectly at a recent red carpet event. I love the girly blush tones with the crisp white oversized blazer. Personally I would have donned nude heels – either patent or open-toe… or both… but she still looks great.

I’m not Ashley Tisdale‘s biggest fan when it comes to her day-to-day street style, but she cleans up rather nicely whenever she hits a red carpet. Case in point: Ashley’s summery ensemble which she rocked at the CW Upfront Presentation a few days ago looked sexy yet elegant and fun. I love her Plastic Island printed dress and even more her Larare Ditta chain pumps which remind me very heavily of this season’s Lanvin chain pumps. I wonder if Lanvin draw some inspiration from Larare since the Ditta pumps are from the Winter 2008/2009 collection already.
