Not that it’s ever been much of a secret, but today I’ll come out of the closet and out myself as a big Olivia Palermo fangirl. There, I said it! Now I usually don’t fall for socialite fashion, but Olivia is way too talented in the style department to be ignored due to her status of being-famous-for-being-famous. Not quite sure if she actually does anything productive besides attending what seems an endless string of fashion events and cocktail parties and, of course, strutting the streets of New York looking ultra busy while talking into her cell phone, but she sure looks impeccably styled doing so, wouldn’t you agree? My latest Olivia obsession is this classic yet fashion foward outfit which she wore a few weeks ago – love it head-to-toe! Especially the printed Paige Denim skinny jeans and the gorgeous flower ring by LeiVanKash. It might be the Olivia factor that makes it oh-so extra desirable, but I’d love to wear each and every single item she wore here and try my best Olivia impersonation.

Picking up on the neon trend in a bubblegum pink sweatshirt, and adding tomboy flair with some distressed denim shorts in a relaxed fit. But what really pulls the entire outfit together are her accessories: A fantastic neutral colored bucket bag, a pair of adorable ankle boots with a very southwestern feel, and finishing off the look with face-framing aviators. Actually, that’s not quite true. Because… don’t we all just love Alaïa shoes? Well, I know I do. He can do both extravagant and simple and still color me impressed. For instance, I adore these studded suede booties – and so does Hollywood. Celebs like Jennifer Hudson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Nicky Hilton have all been spotted wearing this style, each and every one of them looking fab in their Alaïa booties. Too bad you have to be either rich or famous to afford these studded stunners as they come with a hefty $2.448 price tag.

She could’ve done better in the shoes + bag department, but overall I like this look a lot on Fergie!
