Are these borderline tacky hooker shoes? Definitely, but that’s exactly the point where heads start turning. For the faint of heart these are not.

Bebe’s ode to the YSL Tribtoos is called “Liza” and I’ve been a fan of these YSL inspired platforms ever since I first wrote about them in black about a year ago. They’re probably my favorite knockoffs EVER! The red version is delicate though it has a few differences like the wooden heel and the fact that it does not come in patent leather. But the exaggerated, unique shape that makes the Tribtoos stand out is identical! Be fast to stock up on this color, these heels will be sold out soon.

I don’t know how they do it, but Yves Saint Laurent makes some of the most iconic shoes I’ve ever seen. Especially their “Tribute” collection is a hit among celebrities, fashion connoisseurs and normal people like you and me.

I’ve loved the Tribute platform sandals from the first moment I saw them, but never got the chance to go for the real deal or snap up one of the various knockoffs back then when they were considered the “It” shoe of the year. My favorite Tribute sandal was a purple version with gold trimming, but the black patent version is of course much more practical.

They are absolutely amazing looking for knockoffs and while £80 were certainly not cheap, I haven’t put a second thought whether or not to buy them and ordered straight away after they added my size. There’s something about YSL shoes that always keeps me fascinated. I think it’s how most of their shoes have this chunky, awfully impractical platform and the resulting ultra-high stiletto heel that comes with such a platform shape. Bebe Maya Leather Cutout Sandal

For weeks I was desperately trying to identify these Bebe knockoffs. I think I already mentioned my knockoff intuition in a previous post. I knew that these platforms were designer knockoffs, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. The mystery is now finally resolved.

OMG! I have waited SO long for a YSL Trib Two Bootie knockoff to come along and now it’s finally here! Major knockoff find! I literally squealed with excitement when I saw the knockoffs.

Below you see the original YSL Trib Two booties in brown croc leather. I adored these booties just as much as their sister shoe – the YSL Trib Two pumps. Yes, they look a slightly stripperish, but the exquisite YSL craftsmanship prevents them from looking cheap.

As always the price tag was what kept me away from taking the plunge. So I had to let them pass, but I never forgot how much I loved these booties.

As much as I think Heidi Montag is a desperate attention whore, I give credit where credit is due. Heidi has a great taste in shoes and she totally owned these YSL Trib Two booties when she strut the red carpet wearing a casual tank and shorts ensemble.

I’m in love! They look almost identical compared to the real YSL booties, don’t you agree? Not quite a steal at $189, but probably the best YSL Trib Two bootie knockoffs you’ll ever come across.

Kim Kardashian’s style transformation is nothing short of amazing. I remember the times (circa 2007) when Kim would refuse to wear anything else than a body-con Hervé Léger dress on the red carpet and Juicy Couture sweatpants when out in public. A lot has changed since then and I’m glad it changed for the better. Today’s Kim prefers sophisticated dresses and isn’t afraid of taking risks with edgy pieces like a structured Balmain blazer. Brava!
