With the colder season, the Viktor & Rolf Two-tone Platform Pumps are the perfect alternative for traditional fall booties. These are similar to the Viktor & Rolf Split Shaft Platform Booties, just in a pump version. This pump certainly has its own dynamic between the contrasted red to black color and suede to leather material. The collar in the back of the shoe adds a sense of extravagance as well as an artistic element. This initiates an instant statement, therefore should be worn with something rather simple. From the colors to the extended collar, this shoe is definitely very distinct and chic. Though the price tag is out of my budget, the steal below is a splendid alternative.

Dolce Vita “Bonnie” Two-Tone Pumps
Thanks to Dolce Vita, these amazing “Bonnie” pumps coincide precisely with autumn’s trends and hemlines. The same concept is behind these pumps just like in the Viktor & Rolf ones with the same element of colorblocking and symmetry. Additionally, these pumps are available in black with red, black with cognac and black with black.

The Viktor & Rolf Split Shaft Platform Booties are an unconventional and unique version of the classical fall bootie. These shoes feature contrasted colors, red to black, as well as contrasted materials, suede to leather. The contrasting colors and textures complement one another, making the shoe immediately stand out. The red suede meets the black patent leather directly in the middle shoe where the split begins thus creating a focal point of any outfit. I find this unique style to be beautifully stitched and polished, but I’m not so sure that justifies the pricing of $990!

Dolce Vita “Jolie” Platform Boots
This season is all about color blocking and the Dolce Vita “Jolie” platform boots are the perfect archetype of this trend. This wonderful steal was found by one of our readers, Devon, who informed us about this great look-a-like. This bootie is very similar to the one by Viktor & Rolf, plus I love the additional colors available such as cognac and black. With these platform boots, you are bound to make a bold statement.

It is finally October which means Fall has finally begun, the season of boots, coats, scarves, knitwear and more. But it’s only October, today happens also to be my 26th birthday (yay!), so this month’s Shopbop wish list might be a bit more special to me than the others one as it features some items I really, really wish for (but don’t have money for
). It’s kind of really red-heavy this time which is weird because while I do like the color and own a lot of red stuff it’s unusual for me to pick so many red things, but the selection felt very natural to me, so I just let it happen somehow. Have fun & let me know what you think of my October picks.
