Stuart Weitzman

UPDATE: This post has been updated on February 12, 2012. Scroll down to see the new add.

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Aniston‘s style. She delicately walks the edges of trends while always maintaining a classic style that I’m pretty sure we’ll never look back on, thinking “God, WHAT was she wearing?” Last summer Jen started rocking a pair of Stuart Weitzman espadrilles that had me drooling. Clearly I wasn’t the only fan though; the Alex Espadrille Wedges flew off the shelves and were forever more impossible to find. They’re back now and available on several e-retailer sites and I would probably kill to own a pair. Seriously, I recommend you not being around me right now. Sadly these are just out of my price range.

Real vs. Steal – Stuart Weitzman 50/50 Boots

by Vanessa on November 14, 2011

UPDATE: This post has been updated on November 14, 2011. Scroll down to see the new add.

I’m not sure why they call these boots 50/50, when they’re 100% awesome, but I’ll take them! Stuart Weitzman has been a household name in evening shoes for a very long time. Many people don’t know that the collection features far more than glitz and glamour for the feet. There’s everyday booties, bags and wedges to name a few. In my fashionable opinion, each year the shoes get better and better looking, but the amazing comfort stays the same. So it’s no surprise that many of Hollywood’s leading ladies are consistently seen in Stuart Weitzman shoes on and off the red carpet. These below photos are sure to get you less sad about leaving summer behind.

Many fashion loving ladies have told me that they have trouble getting slim fitting boots over their athletic calves, often forcing them into ankle boots. We all know that during the winter a good pair of boots is most vital. Can you feel where I’m going with this? I’m just being cute with my words. But most definitely where I will not be headed is to Stuart Weitzman to pick up a pair of his (very versatile & just-the-perfect-height) “Vital” platform boots! Um, at $695… not so much!

So I think I really don’t need to explain yet another time why I’m obsessed with these Stuart Weitzman leopard wedges since I’ve expressed my love for these shoes back in March when I made it my “Wedge of the Day“-pick.

I sometimes wonder if the guys at Steve Madden read my blog. Because in my WotD-post for the Xrays I predicted that these are going to be HUGE this summer and voilá, 1 1/2 months later a virtually identical look-a-like pops up on their site. Suspicious? Maybe.

I have a feeling this Stuart Weitzman wedge might become the “It” shoe of the season. Why? Because it’s the 2011 version of the “Alex” – the shoe everyone went crazy for after it has been spotted on Jennifer Aniston. Plus, it combines the most coveted shoe of 2010 with the hottest must-have trend of 2011 (LEOPARD, of course!). This one will go like hot cakes, even at $398 now $278.60!
