I’m really no LeAnn Rimes fan, but I have to admit that she has exquisite taste in shoes as she’s always flaunting the hottest heels around town. Her latest shoe acquisition? The uber-gorgeous architectural black/gold platform wedges by Lanvin. J’adore!

So I usually refrain from posting designer heels as Heel of the Day because I like my HOTD-picks to be attainable, but this architectural cutout wedge pump by Lanvin has set my heart on fire and I had to share its amazingness with you! I seriously can’t remember the last time I was being that excited about a shoe. This style which features a double ankle strap and a gold cutout wedge heel is from Lanvin’s Fall 2011 collection and comes in at a whopping $1.552. Not exactly pocket change, huh? Big sigh! As far as I know this style is currently only available at NORDSTROM and if I am any indication I guess these beauties will sell like hot cakes! So if you’ve got the funds to support a sole mate as exclusive as Lanvin, better get these heels now before they’re gone forever! ♥

It might be just me who thinks so, but for some reason I find that talent makes a celebrity that much more stylish. It might be the confidence growing out of the talent that shines through, but if I see gorgeously talented persons like Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore on the red carpet I’m most likely to love what they are wearing because they just own whatever they’re wearing. Just like Natalie Portman did when she attended the 2nd Annual Governors Awards in LA last month. The brunette actress wore a lovely fuchsia draped Lanvin dress and matching magenta t-strap platforms by Stella McCartney.

Before I start worshipping these Lanvin heels, can we please have a moment of silence first? ___________ Thanks. Seriously, how amazing are they? I love the smooth and rounded design. It’s such an elegant shoe with the chain adding some pizzazz into the mix. But the price, OMG!, look at that insane thing of a price! Even on sale it is waaay beyond what I could afford to pay for a pair of heels. Je suis trés desolé, Lanvin!

The whole over-the-knee boot trend first started somewhen last year and French fashion house Lanvin was not only one of the first adaptors but also had a few of the best looking OTK/thigh-high boots out there. Case in point: the high heeled boots below. I love how simple yet detailed they are. What I don’t love is the astronomical price though! And the fact that they’re from last season and hence nowhere to be found anymore.
