We have already written multiple times about how Isabel Marant‘s footwear creations always seem to create a massive hype around them. Whatever the French designer brings out on the market is almost instantly set to be a guaranteed success. First, we had the “Bekket” hidden wedge sneaker and the “Dicker” boot and now “Carol”, a crystal-embellished leather cuff sandal with a stacked wooden heel, is well on its way to becoming the “It“-shoe of the season. Much like everyone else, I absolutely adore this boho-chic summer sandal, but there’s no way I could justify that enormous $1.035 price tag that comes along with it.

Vahni, one of our former guest bloggers here at ITC, has recently blogged about how she (and the rest of the fashion world, for that matter) is totally insane for Isabel at the moment; and for the above pictured “Carol” Sandal in particular. Luckily, just a few days before I happened to stumble upon Jeffrey Campbell‘s “Lakota” Sandal which as you can easily see below is heavily inspired by Madame Marant’s studded creation. I happily passed on the tip to Vahni and she ordered them within a heartbeat. You can see how Vahni rocks her new JCs on her Instagram (absolutely love how V paired them with white denim). Since I am quite positive that these shoes, which retail for $185 (approx. 1/5 of the original’s price) and are available in either black or white, are probably going to sell out very quickly soon, you better hurry up to order these JCs if you’re, too, like Vahni are insane for Isabel.
