So I’m a little obsessed with this woven leather wedge by Givenchy. I think it’ll be a great look to have in your wardrobe and it will go with just about anything! From your cut-off shorts to your long-fitted dress, this shoe is a must have! But I know it can’t be a must for everyone. Especially since the price tag is as high as $1.212! MIA Limited Edition “Sambuca” Wedge Sandals

I really like the rust color of this MIA Limited Edition “Sambuca” Wedge. Such a summery color and really fun to wear. Especially if you want that pop of color! The shoe also comes in ginger and antique brown though as well. All three colors are great options to get the Givenchy look down. Priced at ~$111, I think this wedge is a smart choice.

Looking at this pump-slash-bootie it makes me go hmmmmm because it looks so unlike Givenchy. Their footwear range is typically very bold, daring and edgy while this shoe is rather simple in design. A timeless classic, indeed, and very versatile (you can wear it with virtually everything your wardrobe has to offer), but it’s not like I’d be willing to lay down €375 for such a plain design. And this is already the sale price, people!

I almost get the sensation that I’m looking at a Magic Eye poster when I look at this Givenchy Ottoman Stitch Stripe Jacket. It’s definitely different and very appealing to the eye. I love how Keri Hilson sports it with a pair of black skinnies and a peep-toe boot. Such elegance when it’s worn so simplified. I’m very curious to see how this jacket would look with a pair of jeans as opposed to the all-black ensemble. So, if you want to get the look and not be on the waiting list and spend $1557 on this striking jacket, here are a few more choices!

OK, so I’m not sure how I feel about this jacket by 525 America. I like the buttons, but I feel like it should’ve been a full-length sleeve rather than a 3/4 sleeve. For the last couple weeks I’ve had quite the passionate love affair with Givenchy. It really hit me out of nowhere because I remember being totally underwhelmed by the S/S 2010 collection first, but now I’m starting to warm up to the collection (minus the conehead hats, they’re still a big no). The footwear range of this collection was bold; Riccardo Tisci’s ultra-high chunky platform wedges certainly weren’t for the faint of heart. And while they’re not something I’m seeing myself rocking anytime soon, I still admire them for what they are: pieces of wearable art that is.

When I first saw the footwear collection for the S/S 2010 collection I was unsure if fast fashion chains would answer the call by replicating these extreme almost fetish-style shoes. But surprisingly a lot of them did and we’ve had several of the Givenchy shoes available for those on a lighter shoe shopping budget.
