Personally, I think Valentine’s Day is stupid and I try to ignore it as much as I can. Colorblocking has been trending for the past few seasons, and while mainly neon and bright colors have been featured for Spring, Giuseppe Zanotti brings us a toned down and more classical version in a shoe. I’m always happy to see celebrities wearing accessible fashion, especially when they’re hitting the red carpet. Selena Gomez did just that by opting for a Balmain-ish ASOS black frock ($146.54) which she paired with a pair of steep Giuseppe Zanotti chiffon sandals ($850) at the GRAMMY Nominations Concert a few days ago. Well, you can’t expect a celeb going budget fashion head-to-toe I guess.

Sometimes shoe designers have a look. You see their shoes and immediately can shout out the brand, whether or not you’ve recently viewed the collection. Though it makes a fun game, it’s particularly challenging to play if Giuseppe Zanotti is what’s in front of you. Each season the shoes are sexy and sophisticated, but constantly evolving. They never look too much like a season before. Take these sandals for example, fresh and new – it’s like your foot got all tangled up in a few belts, but in a cool way, obviously.
