Ahhhh, Mommy is home! Walking around in my absolute favorite Italian designer Fendi platform pumps… not! A girl can dream, can’t she? Well, actually recall the good ol’ days when I used to giddily spend that much on shoes. But even if I wanted to throw caution to the wind and drop $785 hard-earned ones, can’t – SOLD OUT! Guess I’m not the only Fendi feign out there. That’s why I’m absolutely over the moon with the steal we’ve found below.

I don’t know if someone over at Fendi didn’t use spellcheck, but I totally desire these appropriately named Desir Silk & Suede Sandal Boots. My God, they’re gorgeous! But I’ve checked my budget for the month (twice actually) and these babies priced @ $796 will not be accompanying me home. But we’ve done some checking and found a great alternative.

Be still my beating heart… because I’m so sure you’ve read my bio (you love me don’t ya?), you already know my heart skipped a beat for these beautiful Fendi shoes! The convergence of blue suede and Italian leather, reeks of quality and skilled craftsmanship. Which I guess justifies the astronomical price tag. But don’t you worry, caterpillar, we’ve found a stylish steal that magically metamorphosed from the Fendi Butterfly.

Seriously, hats off to Mother Nature! In the natural order of things, what starts off as overpriced, MUST be re-born (fine, I’ll say it… copied) cheaper and just as pretty! “Caurah” by Boutique 9 is a pretty good replica; only missing that extra inch of platform. But for only $170, I’ll spread my beautiful new wings and fly away with this great deal which is available in taupe/pink, black, grey and natural suede.

DISCLAIMER: I may be a little biased in writing this post. Why? Because I LOVE Fendi! My obsession began back in the day when I was modeling and I’m still feigning after everything Karl Lagerfeld and the Fendi sisters design. My first passion was for their delicious baguette bags (I have 6), now it’s their shoes. Especially this Jardin pump. If my French serves me correctly, jardin translates to garden in English and that’s how I’d feel if I had these – in a virtual Garden of Eden!

Nine West “Expoze” Pumps
Nine West will “expoze” you to this great pump as well – just at a higher price. But their version is of a darker grey with an extra purple stripe. And yet, still missing that key design element of the double platform. Personally, I wish someone had chosen to do this in the burgundy suede (so much hotter). But I guess if you wanna go cheap, you can’t be choosy!

Handbag Heaven “Ashton” Oversized Satchel
Thanks to Handbag Heaven I was finally able to check this reader request off my list. Yay! Obviously inspired by the Fendi Peekaboo their “Ashton” satchel is only a fraction of the original’s price.
