Hmmm. This Lam looks a little like a very popular Lou I have been coveting for several seasons now. Love the corset-like lacing and summery cork heel. And we all know there is nothing sexier than a sandal that ties around the ankle. But what I don’t love: $790 for this pair? Um, no, thank you, Derek Lam.

I didn’t think skinny cargos could be flattering, but the more I see them on, the more I am proved wrong. Leighton’s look may be neutral, but it’s anything but boring. Poor Jessica Simpson has gotten a ton of flack lately for her weight, but personally I think her body looks awesome – it’s her fashion sense that needed some work. Fortunately, she seems to have gotten into the groove of things again (and/or has a new stylist) and has been looking every inch the beauty that she is. The paparazzi caught Miss Simpson leaving the Ritz Carlton a few days ago, wearing a Stella McCartney Floral Print dress that (and I’m pretty certain about this) needs to end up in my closet for all to be right with the world. Jess paired the dress with a motorcycle jacket, a luxurious-looking, white Derek Lam bag and grey t-straps. Now let me see: I already have grey t-straps, a moto jacket and a white bag in my closet; I’m just missing the dress. Jessica, call me if you want to do a little swap-a-roo. I have a Forever 21 dress with your name on it!
