Alright, listen up all you Kim Kardashian haters who blasted her in one of my previous posts: if you don’t like her here, just click away! If you’re still reading, then I’m going to consider you Team Kim. And I don’t care what anyone says, Kim’s bod is sick and she is totally gorgeous. So what if she likes tight. Now’s the time, not when she’s 80. So I say Kim in lacy Preen, with bright pink nails and Veronica Lake hair? Yeah, baby!

We’ve featured quite a number of Christian Louboutin shoes here on InTheirCloset and I think that’s because, other than being extremely popular with our readers, they are also what I would classify as “classic”. Louboutin pumps range from demure to over the top but almost all of them feel timeless. CL’s “Claudia” ankle-strap sandals are no exception. They are simply a new take on a tried and true shoe. Look how beloved these are by hollywood starlets and Playboy bunnies alike. You’d probably have to be either or both to swing that price tag though.

ALDO “Brodigan” Ankle Strap Sandals
Thank you, ALDO, for bringing us a shoe both lovely and affordable. No, my friends, you will not be able to show off that red sole, but if it’s class you’re looking for, look no further. ALDO’s “Brodigan” pump is the versatile, cocktail pump you’ve been looking for minus the hefty price tag. *Ding Ding*. We have a winner! Also available in a great nude (“bone patent”) color.

Christian Louboutin‘s “Dillian” pumps were designed for 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Spring 2009 collection. I love the shape of the pumps, but the big petal/ruffle thing on the front makes me rather hesitant as it’s so big it could easily drown your feet. Still loving them? If you have about 2k of spare cash, you’re good to go.

Scary price, no? However, if you’re not afraid of ruffles and want heels in the style of the Louboutins, this is your chance to satisfy your budget-friendly designer shoe dreams. Dollhouse’s “Soleil” or “Soliel” Mary Jane pumps are almost identical, even the ginormous petal on the front is spot on. The pumps come either in black or purple.

A few days ago actress Blake Lively has been spotted running errands on the Gossip Girl set in what I would describe as a perfect casual summer ensemble. The blonde beauty paired a blue button down shirt over an off-white tank top which she wore with navy shorts and a tan skinny belt. Her look was finished with lustworthy chocolate brown Louboutin espadrille wedges and a tan bowler bag. Absolutely adorable! See our approach to Blake’s outfit with budget-friendly picks from Old Navy and Steve Madden below and let us know what you think of our Look 4 Less.

Leave it to Christian Louboutin to make loafers look at least somewhat attractive to me. I’m not saying I love these nor would I spend almost a grand on them, but the silver spikes do make these less old man looking and give it a Michael Jackson coolness instead. As you can see below this shoe knows no age and gender; it gets worn by rebellious celebrity teens, newly-wed brides and egocentric dudes likewise.

OMG! I’m out of words. If I had to describe these gold strass stiletto pumps by Christian Louboutin with 3 words, mine would be SEX – DIVA & DANGER. No need for a foreplay if you’re wearing these heels. I probably could walk (or rather stand) in these a mere 5 minutes at most, but it’d be sooo worth it. Too bad they’re out of my budget. Even though I don’t know the exact retail price I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere around $2.000. Bummer!

Charlotte Russe Glitter Pumps
If you love Christian Louboutin’s crystal encrusted Pigalle stilettos just as much, but don’t have a fortune to spend either, why not opt for these very budget-friendly glitter pumps by Charlotte Russe instead? They would look lovely with a red or black dress (see Fergie above), don’t you think? Sooo gorgeous. But don’t be fooled by their cuteness; the arch on these is pretty high and the stiletto heel will bend your feet towards the sky, so always have a second pair of comfy flats or flat heeled shoes on hand. Available in either gold, silver or black.

Oh Christian Louboutin, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. This man was born to make women happy… with shoes. Whatever he comes up with, it’s almost guaranteed to become a must-have – wanted and coveted by women all over the world. Christian Louboutin is known for having a sense of humor, so it’s no surprise that while his shoes are immaculately constructed, many are decidedly irreverent. And his Very Galaxy Platform Pumps are certainly no exception with their jewel-toned, metallic shine and graphic top-stitching. Very inter-galactic, indeed! I imagine the Very Galaxy is probably exactly what Judy Jetson would have worn if Louboutin had set up shop in a galaxy near her.

Finally! I officially have found the perfect nude pump! Are you surprised it is by the man of our shoe dreams, Monsieur Christian Louboutin? I am not. The strange thing is that I’ve been aware of the Banana pumps for quite some time now, but it wasn’t until today before I realized they are the perfect shape. And don’t get me started on the delicious patent nude color. You know you’ve found your perfect shoe when there isn’t one single thing you’d want to change about them… Wait! Oops, sorry, actually there are TWO things I’d change about these darlings here: a) the availability (they’re sold out) and b) the price ($800 isn’t exactly my kind of shoe shopping budget).
