This structured satchel handbag by Chloé struck my eye as soon as I saw it. It’s a combination of dark leather with a feminine and ladylike shape. Truly a staple, it can be paired with anything whether one is simply strutting down the streets or heading out to a fancy evening occasion. One of my favorite aspects of this satchel is the gold metal clasp, due to its simple yet beautiful ornamentation. The price tag, however, is certainly questionable and generally unaffordable for the everyday woman. Nevertheless, the look-a-like may steal you away!

Mini shoulder bags like this one by Chloé have become a summer staple due to the sartorial appeal and trendy coral hue. I love the golden embellishments drawing attention to this compact handbag. I don’t know how often I’ve already gushed about this mint green Chloé bag, but it obviously hasn’t been often enough because I still feel the urge to share my unconditional love for it with you all. I first mentioned it while writing about mint green being the “It“-color of the season; I declared my adoration for this bag on Facebook; I even pinned it on my wish list. The only thing I haven’t done yet is actually buy it. Of course, I’d love to – but wait a minute! I forgot I’m not a darn millionaire, so no $2.700 bag for me today. Booooo!

Botkier “Phoenix” Satchel
At $575 you can’t really call this tote bag by Botkier a “steal”, but it does in fact cost a whopping 80% less than the Chloé bag, so that makes the Botkier bag a much more realistic puchase option. And while it doesn’t come in the adorable mint green color as Chloé’s Madeleine I do like the pastel peachy color of the Botkier bag almost just as much.

Menswear is ultimately my favorite trend, but the femininity of these Chloé wedges is irresistible. Though they may have a feminine touch, you can wear them in a multitude of ways including menswear aesthetic. The bow tie adds just the right amount of dynamism between it and the design, without distracting from the simplistic beauty of the shoe. This would be a very fashion-worthy splurge if they were in my budget. As I am not able to invest in Chloé wedges, the steal below is a splendid alternative.

Steve Madden earns the role of a hero when it comes to imitating designs from very lavish labels, hence Chloé. First off, I have to mention my affinity for these shoes because I simply cannot find a single flaw about them. The wedge height is stellar, and so is every other detail! They are lacking the bow detail, but the buckle makes a wonderful substitute and really adds a casual element. If I have yet to convince you, check them out in a variety of tones such as natural, black, and brown.
