I really didn’t think I would love these 70′s platform sandals by Casadei as much as I do. You know I’m usually not the first one to queue for a pair of hot pink pair of shoes, especially when they have so many 70′s fashion references, but in the case of these Casadei heels there’s just something so intriguing about them that I can’t help but love them! Jessica Simpson “Pai” Strappy Platform Sandals

Too bad there’s no pink version of Jessica Simpson‘s Casadei dupe named “Pai”. But I do love the black and the teal suede color. They’re almost 100% identical compared to the originals and the price is pretty sweet, too! Only $98.

Real vs. Steal – Casadei 6822 Criss Cross Sandals

There is something really sexy about wearing a criss cross sandal, and who wouldn’t love the Casadei 6822 Criss Cross Sandal? I really love it in the black so that way you can really see the design of the shoe. But, honestly, I’m not going to spend €580 which is approx. $834… I’m 100% sure that we can come up with a much better deal here!

Fergie “Sanibel” Backzip Sandals

I actually really like this steal by Fergie! Why? Because I love how the straps give you the illusion that they wrap all around the platform. Plus I love the texture in the straps as well! And the best part is these sandals are only $76.97!

Real vs. Steal – Casadei 3114 Satin Platform Pumps

Are you guys familiar with the Italian shoe designer, “Casadei“? I wasn’t either until recently, when I came across a stunning pair of their platform pumps. They were very old Hollywood glamour meets modern day woman and I was immediately a fan. Even though many of their heels measure at least 5 inches, I’ve heard only wonderful things about their level of comfort. I am particularly enamoured with Casadei’s “3114″ Satin Platform Pumps. There’s not a whole lot going on with this shoe, besides classic construction, but I think you’ll agree that these would be a perfect bridal pump, among other things. Unfortunately, not sure if you caught a glance at their retail price, but that is in fact a 9 before the 50. Yes, they’re currently on sale, but that’s still a whole lotta dough.

Even though I often wax poetic on the beauty of a 5 inch heel, let’s be honest: if you have to wear the shoes ALL night, a 4 incher is probably a better choice. ALDO “Orpin” Peep-toe Pumps

ALDO‘s “Orpin” pump is dressed in suede and not satin but otherwise all the classic details are there to make this a knockout shoe (as well as a darn good knockoff). Taupe shoes are huge for Spring but I’m especially in love with the turquoise color – they would look spectacular with any LBD. Available in taupe, coral or turquoise suede.

Back in April Anne Hathaway attended the Cartier 100th Anniversary in America Celebration looking lovely in a short blue Jill Stuart dress with a black lace overlay.
