So while I usually love anthing Camilla Skovgaard, these “Saw Tooth” wedge ankle boots aren’t exactly my cup of tea. I’d never wear these booties with a bare leg as seen on Whitney Port because my legs would look hoof-like and stumpy. But with a pair of black opaque tights I think these are quite rockable. However, laying down almost $500 for these booties? Thank you, but no thank you.

Have I told you lately how much I love a sandal that slightly resembles a boot? Well, I do… I really, really do! Unfortunately, these AW10021 beauties by Camilla Skovgaard are as pretty as they wanna be. But because my zip code isn’t 90210 where the local residents will drop almost $500 for a pair of shoes like nothing, I’ll pass and scroll down for a better deal. Care to join me; want to be my neighbor?

Vince Camuto “Aman” Sandals
Well, hello neighbor! Not so shabby this part of town, don’t you agree? Where everything is quite affordable. Especially these Vince Camuto “Aman” sandals. Amen for the $118 price tag as well. Feeling so blessed; because they’re available in black and dark brown. O’yeah, I can totally live with this great steal and within my means!

You know, I love how everyone decides upon their signature scent or their own way of dressing. Doing what one needs to do in order to stand out in a crowd. And that’s exactly what Camilla Skovgaard did by giving her shoes a crazy saw bottom à la Edward Scissorhands! She might not be a household name yet, but you’ll definitely recognize her shoes the next time you’re out shopping. Too bad you won’t be able to pick up this adorable sandal/bootie – already sold out! But because we ALWAYS have your back, scroll down for a great alternative.

Promiscuous “Malia” Sandals
I told ya, we’d have your back. Check out Malia-a sassy lil thang by Promiscuous! Of course she’s missing the crazy bottom, but for only $69 who’s complaining? Bonus: a higher heel (but that just might be me). Available in black or nude faux suede.

If you’re interested in having a fabulous furry collar around your ankles I think Camilla Skovgaard is definitely the way to go! This shoe gives a great effect on your ankle and looks very comfortable as well. I also love how the strap is hidden, therefore the whole focus is on the collar. Don’t want to dish out the $565 for this sandal? We’ve got you covered…

Plenty by Tracy Reese “Zac” Sandals
The Plenty by Tracy Reese alternative is on it! I love that it has a zipper back and I love the wooden heel on the dove version! If you can withhold the furry collar, I think this shoe looks just as great. And the price makes it even more attractive!

Camilla Skovgaard has become quite the shooting star in my top list of favorite shoe designers. She’s just freaklingly talented and I find myself being in love with almost every single pair of her shoes. Let me give you an example: When she first brought out a collection where most of the styles had a jagged sole (something that has become somewhat of a trademark of Skovgaard now), I was not exactly pleased. I didn’t like it, it looked too utilirian, too contradictory. However, now I’m LOVING them. I don’t know why my mind changed overnight, but it did and Ms. Skovgaard is the one to blame.

Look who was impressed by Skovgaard as well? Paris Hilton‘s version of the designer heels isn’t spot-on, but there are still a bunch of similarities between both. I wish they’d come with the jagged sole, but you can’t have it all with knockoffs. Available in nude, black and pewter.
