While Alexander Wang‘s Fall 2009 collection didn’t impress me much in terms of clothes I must admit I am quite fond of these buckled pointy ankle boots which were also a part of this collection. The other shoe styles were a bit too masculine for me, but the “Hanne” boot had just the right amount of edginess and badass punk. Sadly, they are also quite pricey at more than $1.200 a pair.

So in terms of fame, talent and celebrity status Kristin Cavallari might be totally irrelevant and overrated, but I have to admit I do like the way she dresses. For example, I love the look Kristin recently sported while making her way to the LAX airport. Big shades, carrying the iconic Rocco satchel by Alexander Wang, black skinnies paired with suede high heel booties, an oversized cardi and an animal print snood to cozy up with when the overenthusiastic A/C starts blowing your way on the plane. Casual and comfy yet still totally stylish. A+ for travel chic!

I have to admit when accessorizing with jewelry, I tend to go for silver. And these Anais loafer pumps by Alexander Wang are no exception. A beautiful shiny yet matte loafer with matching tassels that will look awesome with an all red ensemble or, of course, with the always proverbial play-it-safe black. But at $650, I’d rather take a pair in silver plated, please.

Back in the old days (you know, 2005) the fashion world saw the introduction to the “It Bag” – a bag that became every starlet’s must have accessory. One day, readers (stay with me), Mary Kate Olsen was spotted carrying a gorgeous black, studded bag that no one could identify but that everyone immediately wanted. A year later the bag (eventually attributed to the talented, Alexander Wang) was made available to the public. It was then known as “Coco”; it is now known as “Rocco”; I can afford neither one.

I’ve gotta tell you guys, I have been anxiously awaiting the “knock-off” version of the Alexander Wang Alla wedges for months now and judging from the amount of emails we’ve received on this shoe, I’m not the only one. These super cute wedges are not only super pricey but also super sold out. I initially saw them on Khloe Kardashian (the leopard version) and it was love at first sight. Since then I’ve been both stalking them on eBay (totally fruitless) and looking for “steal” versions (also completely pointless)…

Well our patience seems to have paid off. Joan & David‘s “Opal” Wedge Booties are not the cheapest steal we’ve ever featured, but gosh, they’re good, aren’t they? In all the most important ways, these booties are an awesome knockoff of the Allas. Beautiful shape, rich color, peep-toe… half the price… now all we need is a leopard version. For now though, I’ll take the black leather or black suede.

How cute is Dakota Fanning? Just too cute for words and so is her outfit! I must admit, I love leopard print and I love the fact that young Ms. Fanning, has developed a style all her own.
