I know many of you are already preparing for the fall season (fashion-wise and mentally), but I’m not quite done with summer yet. Especially not with summer’s soft and fun side: light, pastel color palettes, armless tops, short shorts and naked toes. Oh how I’m gonna miss all that in the next 6-9 months! So before I can dive in to fall fashion, I had to farewell summer with one last imaginary outfit. What do you think? Do you like it?

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with soft, flesh-toned colors such as blush pink. There’s something so quintessentially feminine about that color that makes me want to turn my wardrobe into an altar for everything blush. So when I happened to come across this gorgeous nude-colored draped jersey skirt by Rachel Pally, I simply had to create a blush-toned look around it. I went full on matchy-matchy with this outfit which might be a bit too much for some, but I totally love it. Do you?

Alright, I’ll admit it: I will officially love cobalt blue and stripes until the day I die! There’s just no way I could ever let go of these two personal faves of mine. When I recently browsed through Nordstrom’s newest arrivals the cobalt blue hobo bag and pants by Halogen instantly caught my eye and before I knew it I was already imagining an outfit around those items with stripes being a major part of this look, of course. Well, you know what they say: “If you can’t beat them, join them.” – which is exactly what I did. What do you think of my blue crush outfit?

I’m quite excited about today’s Real vs. Steal feature. Maybe it’s because it’s not yet another shoe this time or maybe it’s because I’m a sucker for all things nautical and sparkling and Oscar de la Renta (who isn’t, right?). Maybe it’s a combination of all these things. Fact is: I’ve been hugely obsessed with this adorable striped sequin sweater by Oscar de la Renta from the very first moment I spotted it on Net-A-Porter. It was love at first sight! I mean, stripes and sequins, does it ever get better than these two? I highly doubt so. But even though I really, really loooove Oscar de la Renta, dropping almost 2k on a sweater is simply beyond my imagination.
