A few days ago actress Blake Lively has been spotted running errands on the Gossip Girl set in what I would describe as a perfect casual summer ensemble. The blonde beauty paired a blue button down shirt over an off-white tank top which she wore with navy shorts and a tan skinny belt. Her look was finished with lustworthy chocolate brown Louboutin espadrille wedges and a tan bowler bag. Absolutely adorable! Celebrity Look 4 Less – Olivia Palermo’s Floaty Top & Shorts Look

I’m often asked what celebrity’s style is most like mine. It’s difficult to answer because I pride myself on having my own unique style, but over time I spent a lot of time thinking about it (probably too much to admit) and always give the same answer: Olivia Palermo meets Vanessa Hudgens. So, when I saw this photo of Olivia looking garden party chic at a recent event I laughed. Why? Because her exact shoes are a purchase I made a few weeks ago. I guess 1/2 of my style response has been pretty on target – next time we see a photo of Vanessa Hudgens, I’ll test out the other half. Until then, I’m happy to see that Olivia’s feminine and sophisticated ensemble is easily attainable.

Not so long ago people were calling Lauren Conrad overexposed. Remember that? Well, the former reality star did a total 360 by spending so much of the last year out of the public eye. I’m not sure about all of you, but now, I just miss seeing her and her very West Coast style. I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when the paparazzi slipped us a little bit of Lauren earlier this month, looking fresh and adorable in this somewhat 70s inspired ensemble.

Celebrity Look 4 Less – Kim Kardashian’s Green Bebe Romper

Back in March everyone’s favorite Armenian American socialite aka Kim Kardashian flaunted a green romper while out and about in Miami and I must admit I was totally smitten with Kim’s utilitarian look. It was so well put together without looking overdone. The green fitted Bebe romper was an ode to the current military trend but very subdued and not over-the-top. Runway to Real Way – Givenchy’s S/S 2010 Striped Look

Givenchy‘s S/S 2010 collection was one of those collections that had to grow on me. First I was like “Where’s the color? What is it with all those stripes?” – I really wasn’t impressed. I’m still hesitant about the dirty-ish head-to-toe tribal looks and the weird conehead hats, but the rest I learned to love. Especially the striped blazer looks. D’uh! Of course, how could I forget the prices?! All of these gorgeous items cost more than what I’d normally spend on tops, belts, shoes and shorts. So what’s a girl with a limited budget to do? Easy, I put my look-4-less skills at test and tried to recreate Shopbop’s lovely look on a more budget-friendly basis. I’m quite happy with the outcome; it’s not a 100% match and not as charming as Shopbop’s version, but the overall look & feel is almost the same and price-wise it’s totally doable.

So a few posts ago Celine proposed to LuLu*s and since she didn’t get a definite answer yet I figured now is my chance to do the same. I am certain we would make the perfect couple actually. Cruisin’ LuLu*s newest arrivals is one of my new found hobbies and I almost always find something to drool over every day.

My obsession du jour is this cobalt blue floral printed romper. Lately, I find myself really attracted to this shade of deep blue and the vibrant color of this cute little thing is absolutely delicious, isn’t it? The floral accents give the solid blue a nice contrast and lighten it up which makes the romper perfect for wearing in the summer. And although I do think it is a wee bit short I’m also sure there couldn’t be a better motivation to hit the gym than wanting to rock this electric blue number with nicely tanned & toned legs.

Diane Kruger is one of my absolute red carpet favorites. She’s always so flawless and on-point when attending public events. You’ll never catch her wearing some boring black dress or follow a trend blindly. She has impeccable taste and this reflects in her red carpet outings. Case in point: Diane wearing a black velvet jumpsuit (in fact, it’s a combination of matching blouse + pants, but it looks like a one-piece to me). Isn’t it just gorgeous on her? It’s not easy to pull off a velvet jumpsuit, but Diane masters it perfectly.
