A new month, a new Shopbop wish list. And since Valentine’s Day is just one day away I created this list with different Valentine’s Day outfits in mind: flirty, sexy and trendy. The flirty outfit is for girly girls who love all things pink and have a knack for romantic comedies. The sexy outfit is for all you seducing vixens out there and the trendy look is supposed to cater to all the fashionistas among you who don’t care about LBDs or other traditional dressing conventions. As you can see from all outfits I’m currently quite obsessed with nude footwear. Nude shoes are kind of my personal valentine this year. What do you think of my picks? Yay or nay?

I have to admit this ain’t my best budget look in terms of the “budget” part; because this outfit sums up to a whopping $371.70. However, each item is rather affordable on its own, so I figured I’d still publish it as a “Budget Look“. For the styling part of this outfit I’m quite proud of myself. I know self-praise is socially frowned upon, but I can’t help but keep staring at my own creation here. I’d love to wear this look head-to-toe, it’s quintessentially what I’d call a typical cruise look: a crisp white dress, oversized shades, turquoise accessories with gold accents, summery wedges, fun nail polish and a little bronzer to round it off. What do you think of it?

So this ASOS pencil dress is a knockoff of Victoria Beckham’s “Bidart” dress from her Spring 2009 collection and while I liked it in the original red color, I gotta admit I am in love with the newly added colors (my favorites: purple = regal, yellow = OMGIWANT!, cafe creme = delicately feminine). Definitely one of the best dresses currently available at ASOS.

While doing my daily web browsing I discovered this beautiful draped dress at GoJane and decided I would do a budget look around it. It’s a very matchy-matchy, super girly approach, but I really like the femininity and delicacy of the outfit. The whole look would cost you a very fair $126.70, but if you’re fast, you can use coupon code “NEWYEAR35A” to take a whopping 35% OFF (that cuts the price by $44.35 down to a yay-worthy $82.35)! But you gotta be quick, the code is due to expire today.
