The colorblock tube dress below was one of my favorite pieces from Alexander Wang‘s Spring 2009 collection, but at one point the dress became so popular that I was sick of seeing it every second day on the red carpet. Now that the overexposure has stopped, my love returned, but unfortunately the dress has sold out since. Not that I could afford it were it still available.

UPDATE (05/22/2011): Almost 2 years later I found another Alexander Wang dress lool-a-like by Wet Seal. It has a white top panel instead of a black one, but the rest is spot-on. And the dress is $22.50 only. What a deal! Lipsy Asymmetric Colour Block Body-Con Dress

All the European Alexander Wang fans rejoice! Lipsy has a great knockoff dress retailing for £65. The material is different and the colorblocking isn’t in the exact same order, but it’s still a great look 4 less alternative.
