I already mentioned I am by no means a handbag expert. I think I own about 10-15 bags and usually have around 2 or 3 in rotation per season which works out totally fine for me. However, from time to time I find myself obsessing over a particular handbag such as the Marc Jacobs “Stam” bag which was named after topmodel Jessica Stam. The satchel has some obvious Chanel references (e.g. the quilted leather or the gold chain), but I’d still consider it unique enough to stand on its own.

The colorblock tube dress below was one of my favorite pieces from Alexander Wang‘s Spring 2009 collection, but at one point the dress became so popular that I was sick of seeing it every second day on the red carpet. Now that the overexposure has stopped, my love returned, but unfortunately the dress has sold out since. Not that I could afford it were it still available.

I’m all about embellishments and this is superb! Sergio Rossi‘s Powder Suede Cachet Vague Sandal with Crystals is the perfect balance of neutral and glitz. I’m loving the scalloped architecture on this bedazzled pump as well! Looks great with any printed or solid dress! I really like how Anna Kendrick is rocking this fab shoe. But, if you’re not in love with the price, below is a second choice.
