Although I’ll pass; these are a little too much (ok, way too much) for me in terms of both design and price. These… uhm, shall I say I-bet-they-have-a-wonderful personality heels (wink, wink) go for roughly $1.200! But have no fear you rebel without a cause and/or those without a lot of cash, we’ve done our homework and found an awesomely priced alternative!

I’ve been a huge fan of Brian Atwood for a few years and now that SJP flaunted her lilac Locas in the newest Sex and the City installment, it seems like everyone and their mother does love his shoes as well. Brian really stepped up his shoe game lately and these studded platform pumps with clear panel are sick! In a good way. I love the contrast between the feminine lilac color and the kickass sky-high heel and gold studs. Too bad they’re way out of my budget at $800 a pair.

These Hypnotic “Parker” pumps are a dead ringer for the Brian Atwood Locas. They come in 5 colors including taupe which is the closest to the original lilac, black, grey, red & blue faux suede. So we received quite a few reader requests to find a knock-off of the uber-glam Bridget strass-adorned lace booties by the legendary Christian Louboutin. These were designed by Monsieur Louboutin for Marchesa’s ethereal Spring 2010 collection and perfectly reflected the brand’s affinity for feminine details like lace and embellishments. Month after month passed by and no knock-offs were in sight. I began to think that copycats à la Madden & Campbell shy away from this particular style because of the complicity of this shoe – the fragile strass & the delicate lace – details that’ll look incredibly tacky and wrong if done cheaply. But – lo and behold! Today was one of those rare lucky days…

Imagine my utter excitement when I spied these “Tano” sandals by Dollhouse yesterday! This knock-off is probably as good as it gets. Yes, they don’t have strass on the heel, but what do you expect from a $30 shoe? I think they look absolutely fabulous and they’re super affordable, on top of it. OMG! I’m out of words. If I had to describe these gold strass stiletto pumps by Christian Louboutin with 3 words, mine would be SEX – DIVA & DANGER. No need for a foreplay if you’re wearing these heels. I probably could walk (or rather stand) in these a mere 5 minutes at most, but it’d be sooo worth it. Too bad they’re out of my budget. Even though I don’t know the exact retail price I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere around $2.000. Bummer!
