This little black dress by Yves Saint Laurent from the Spring 2008 collection is a classic LBD and every woman should have at least one in her closet because it is a versatile basic you can wear very often. Shelling out about $2.7k for a simple dress however is pretty offputting, isn’t it?

Bebe is king when it comes to knockoffs lately. This strapless v-cut pencil dress is a great alternative to the pricey original. It’s a bit shorter than the YSL dress and has an asymmetric side drape which falls to the side of the skirt, but other than that both dresses are pretty much the same.
