Thigh-high boots are dangerous territory because they can easily look… well, wrong. Think cheap-y and stripperish! But let’s not make a hasty judgment here because over-the-knee boots can also look super hot and fabulous. Case in point? These Christian Louboutin OTK boots. The suede tones them down while the lacing detail gives them a Victorian feel. This is thigh-high boots done right, but oh, $1.995 for a pair? I think I’ll have to pass this time!

There’s something about YSL shoes that always keeps me fascinated. I think it’s how most of their shoes have this chunky, awfully impractical platform and the resulting ultra-high stiletto heel that comes with such a platform shape. Perfect examples are the Tribute sandals, the infamous YSL Trib Two pumps and also these black suede platform sandals below which I find myself being quite fond of.

For weeks I was desperately trying to identify these Bebe knockoffs. I think I already mentioned my knockoff intuition in a previous post. I knew that these platforms were designer knockoffs, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. The mystery is now finally resolved. If you prefer a different color and want to cut off the price by more than 50%, there is also a tiger-printed suede version of the Maya sandal available which is on sale for $38.49.

I love Reese Witherspoon in these pumps! She looks ultra chic with her black coat and navy dress! Very European and very stylish, I must say. Who do you think wore the pump best? Dolce Vita “Vivo” Peep-toe Slingback Pumps

In some ways I actually like this Dolce Vita “Vivo” Peep-toe Slingback Pump better than the Jimmy Choos! First off, the pump offers that elegant invisible platform and it also comes in a really pretty platinum version that has a hint of sparkle to it (as well as ivory satin).
