Motel Jet Playsuit
UPDATE (03/19/2012): Not really a knockoff, but the fuchsia Motel playsuit instantly reminded me of the pink Adam jumpsuit, so I figured it might be a great alternative.

LuLu’s Lucy Fuchsia Romper
This super cute romper from LuLu’s is a great alternative if you are looking for a similar style. I know the color of the LuLu’s version isn’t a 100% match, but it’s pretty close and also super cheap at $35.

This glamoruous heel by Christian Louboutin is called “Very Mix”. Can I just say I desperately would love to be in the mix and mingle in these babies! But at almost $4.000 – just not going to happen. Dammit, why do the rich chicks get to have all the fun? Thank God, Jehovah, Allah, Buddha (very p.c. around here) for knockoffs. Now we all can get into the mix with the Loubi look-a-like below.

Promise “Manchi” Studded Platform Pumps
Ask and you shall receive! “Manchi” by Promise has totally delivered with this studded platform. OK, so not as encrusted with crystals as the Louboutin, but the spikes will do. And hey, for $60 you get these other colors as well: gold and black/bronze.

If you follow me on Twitter, you’ll know that my avatar is a picture of the Giuseppe Zanotti sky-high leopard wedge boots you see below. Ive been obsessed with these beauties for months now. Yes, they are obscenely high (5.75″) and I probably couldn’t walk out of the house in them without falling over and break my ankles, but I still can’t get over how amazing they are. Also amazingly expensive. Sigh!

bebe “Cassidy” Leopard Haircalf Ankle Wedges
UPDATE (08/28/2011): Another Zanotti leopard wedge look-a-like from bebe. Though it seems to me that it’s just a restock of the “Charlotte” wedge booties from below which for some reason have been renamed to “Cassidy”. I, at least, see absolutely no differences between both bebe versions apart from the fact that “Charlotte” is sold out while “Cassidy” is still available in all sizes! Any thoughts?

I knew someone would knock the Zanotti wedges off, but I must admit I thought Jeffrey Campbell would be the first to mimic the design. Well, I was wrong because it’s bebe who followed up with an almost identical replica. The only noticeable difference is the smaller leopard print which I still prefer on the original, but I’m not complaining. If you love these as much as I do, better be fast and order quickly, I’m quite certain these will just fly off the shelves.

These spiked metal pumps which have been designed by Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte’s Fall 2010 collection imo belong more in a museum rather than on someone’s feet because I think they’re meant to be concept shoes. To prove my point, look at the celebs strutting their stuff in those heels below. None of them really pulls them off, something always looks off when they’re worn with “normal” clothing. That’s why I think these shoes belong on the runway or on a display.

Boutique 9 “Helene” Cut-Out Pumps
Boutique 9 stripped off a lot of the details that makes the Rodarte heels so unique, but even the tamed version strongly reminds me of the designer counterpart. Of course it’s a lot more wearable which can be either a good and or a bad thing. Available in black or taupe.

If you’re not familiar with silk jersey dresses by Issa, I’ll let you in on a little secret: they are not only super stylish, they are super comfy. I know, because I have one. So I’m sure Kelly Rowland’s beauteous bright blue Issa is no exception. Issa is ready-to-wear that is easy-to-wear.

Mango Slinky Ruched Front Dress
While $405 for an original Issa is not crazy expensive, even if you have the cash, Kelly Rowland’s blue dress is currently sold out. Luckily, this Mango version can still be had, and for less than a hundred bucks. I told you a secret about the Issa version, and here’s some scoop on Mango’s Slinky Ruched Front Dress: you will wear the hell out of this dress. In winter with tights or boots and a cardi, in summer with a wedge, to a cocktail party with OTT jewelry and a strappy sandal, and even to the office with a hip-length jacket and closed-toe pumps. It is the perfect year-round, dress-of-all-trades. Grab one before they sell out too.
