I can just imagine these dainty yet vibrant suede pumps by Christian Louboutin as part of the incredibly chic wardrobe of Doris Day’s Character, Jan Morrow, in the 1959 movie, “Pillow Talk“. She would have paired them with a matching bag and a lovely camel suit and coat. But coordinating our accessories isn’t really the style anymore, and with what you’re spending on this pair, you probably need to maximize their mileage. Not all that convinced of how often you’d wear these but love them dearly? Then snatch up our very cool steal below!

Ivanka Trump “Amoro” Pumps
I already have plans to wear these statement heels by Ivanka Trump with my jeans and white oxford skirt, my navy pencil skirt and light blue blouse, and my grey cocktail dress (which is a bit more unexpected than black)! This particular color is quite transferable, seeing how well it goes with the classic neutral shades in most of our closets. But the best part is the price! This style comes in an array of different colors and finishes, so go ahead and get a neutral pair as well.

J.Crew “Mona” Suede Pumps
One of our loyal readers, Patience, has given us heads-up about another great Louboutin alternative which is available at J.Crew. The “Mona” pump is a little more expensive, but the fun colors (e.g. yellow) make more than up for it I think.

Charlotte Olympia designs are synonymous with femininity and meticulous attention to detail. These gorgeous espadrilles are no exception, with their beautifully sculpted platform and glamorous silhouette. The clever designer reinvented an iconic pair of shoes normally worn on a weekend afternoon, and made them perfect for an evening out. Just like your favorite celebs, wear them with a dress or skirt to really highlight the pretty ankle strap. Loving everything about these heels but experiencing a bit of sticker shock? You gotta admire Giuseppe Zanotti for his fearless approach to designing shoes. Take these colorful colorblock wedge sandals for instance. These look like they belong into a kid’s room rather than on the feet of a grown woman and even though I can’t think of too many outfit options to pair these with it’s still a very fun-looking shoe and probably would work well with a monochrome look at an event where drinking alcohol excessively is a socially accepted pastime (e.g. a Bachelorette party). But would I ever spend $695 for a pair of designer heels that look like LEGO? Nope.

Ever have those days when you’re feeling blue and need a serious lift? Well, metaphorically speaking these Platform Bow Sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti may just be your go-to shoe. First off, a) they are a vibrant blue color, b) they have a soaring heel and c) they’re gorgeous! Though one might possibly break an ankle trying to walk in them, the mega-boost of height is insured. The bow and ankle strap add femininity and vintage-like appearance which is a contributing factor to the bold exterior. As usual, the price is severely expensive, but that indicates the steal is awaiting you below!

Luichiny “Rest Up” Bow Platform Sandals
Luichiny seals the deal for me. Just look, the difference is barely discernible unless you are a guru at spotting the “imitation” shoe. The color is just as vibrant, the bow is slightly smaller, and the ankle strap seems to be in place. The most important factor is that the grand heel is still a focal point, which I absolutely adore. Available in red, pink, black, and cream faux suede, there is a variety of colors to choose from.

Many people and celebrities alike have that specific “out-the-door handbag” which is often both fashion forward and easy to carry around. Currently trending is this Metal to the Petal Flap Pouchette by none other than the cross-body handbag specialist Marc by Marc Jacobs. It’s everything that I could possibly desire in a handbag; featuring gold embellishments and being the perfect size whether I’m leaving out the door or preparing for a grander event. Unfortunately, the price of $248 is simply too expensive for me, thus we have a great alternative which is both chic and budget-friendly.

ASOS Bird Across Body Bag
ASOS has always been one of my favorite stores because I can always find what I need for a lesser price and the clothing is still very stylish. Confirming that theory is this Bird Across Body Bag. Though it’s slightly different than the Marc by Marc Jacobs cross-body bag above, it still features similar ornamentation like the bird appliqué and gold hued embellishments. Besides the more affordable price of $35.81, it is available in mint green and lilac.
