I recently noticed that I am pretty ill equipped in regards of sunglasses. In fact, I own exactly ONE (UPDATE: make that 4 now) pair of sunglasses which I bought about 2 years ago on eBay. However, those sunglasses I absolutely adore and treasure. It’s a pair of chocolate brown oversized Miu Miu sunnies which cost me about $120. I haven’t been tempted to buy any new sunglasses ever since, but that might be about to change because I fell in love with Chloé‘s gorgeous Myrte sunnies. I really like the shape and the metal inlays add detail and are so cute! Too bad they retail for $297 which is not a price I’m willing to pay since I’m not that big on sunglasses in the first place.

LC Lauren Conrad Round Sunglasses
UPDATE (10/14/2010): Lauren Conrad’s upscale fashion line may have tanked, but it looks like her line for Kohl’s, LC Lauren Conrad, is going pretty well. Maybe it’s so successful because she takes inspiration from her own fashion basics? Clearly, these sunglasses are spot-on Chloé’s Myrte knockoffs which she owns herself. Want the same style for a whole lot less? Get these sunnies at Kohl’s on sale for $16.99 in black, champagne or tortoise.

ASOS Corner Detail Sunglasses
I happened to browse ASOS for the newest arrivals today and was absolutely delighted to see an almost identical version of the Chloé Myrte sunnies for a much, much lower price. The inlays on the black version are gold instead of gunmetal, but I think I even prefer that. The sunglasses come also in brown tortoise

HEY STELLAAAHHH! Must be screamed with as much passion as Marlon Brando does in the classic movie, A Streetcar Named Desire. Stella McCartney please, unchain my heart and wallet from this gorgeous bag you’ve designed! But, my dear and fellow vegan, a thousand dollars for a bag that’s not even real leather? Ummm, on what planet does this happen? Oh yeah… how could I forget, the planet named Hollywood!

Spiegel Foldover Bag with Chains
OK girls, forget foldover, I’m bowled over by Spiegel‘s version of Stella’s bag! Honestly, I wasn’t really feelin’ this look. But… it’s official; I’m now part of the “chain gang” because of this very creative and economical 2-for-1 design. A shoulder bag and a clutch? SOLD!

Hmmm. I have a confession: these Elizabeth and James Valley Soft Cuff Booties are not really my cup of tea. But I’m sure there are ladies out there, who like JLo, would love nothing more than to own a pair. While they are not overly pricey, unfortunately, they are totally sold out. I’m sure those photos of Jennifer Lopez in them had nothing to do with that…

Rosegold “Sara” Lace-Up Booties
If you’re on the hunt for a supple grey suede bootie like the Elizabeth and James version, we’ve spotted a pair that is very similar, and still very available. These “Sara” Lace-Up Booties by Rosegold have that same lace-up detail and foldover cuff, but at $151.22, they’re less than half the price of J. Lo’s faves.

OMG. That stands for Oh. My. GUCCI! And oh, the hotness…Daryl, will you marry me? I am sick for this platform from the Gucci S/S 2010 collection. I mean, what else can I say, other than I think I need a cold shower? And so will anyone in the vicinity of a broad in these bodacious bondage-like shoes. Meeeeeeowwww mama!

That I must buy. And at $149, you’re probably thinking the same thing too. Hurry though—I’m betting they won’t last long.

There are shoes… and there are SHOES! The first time I laid my eyes on Christian Louboutin‘s “Années Folles“, a gorgeous d’Orsay satin pump with gold lattice details on the back and front with a sky-high 5.5″ heel, I knew it was one of those mad crushes you’ll never get rid of. And boy, was I right… I cyberstalked these lustworthy heels on a weekly basis knowing I couldn’t afford them anyway, but that didn’t affect my adoration one bit and since love knows no borders I was completely lost forever. And just when I thought I couldn’t want these any more I saw Jennifer Lopez and Dita von Teese strutting their stuff wearing these Loubies and looking drop-dead gorgeous doing so! I seriously can’t wait for the first knockoffs to pop up (let’s hope they’ll be able to replicate all those delicate details without messing them up or making them look cheap).
