‘Tis the season to get your spike on! From spiked heels to spiked drinks – I am so down! Which is why this Pigalle “Loubie” should totally be in my stocking. But at over $1.000 and the fact that it’s sold out – ol’ St. Nick won’t be dropping these babies off anytime soon! No worries though, all my naughty girls; we found a nice lil’ knockoff below.

STUDIO TMLS “Bahia” Studded Pumps
See… naughty girls need love, too. And these pretty pumps as well! “Bahia” by STUDIO TMLS is not as spiked or as high as the Pigalle, but for about roughly 25% of the original cost, I think we can deal with these few exceptions. But not spiking my drink with enough of the good stuff is a whole other story.

The Gucci Huston Mary Jane Plaform Suede Pumps are a fusion of the classic Mary Jane silhouette with a 1970s take, significant both to modern elegance and the disco fashion. The soaring heel draws attention as it contradicts with the mellowness and sweetness of a Mary Jane styled shoe. As these pumps come in several hues, I have to say that every color is uniquely presented bringing a sense of disco-like glamour to the table. I admire the the plum purple hue with the deep gold piping as it is sophisticated yet retro-chic. These pumps are essentially iconic and representative of 1970s trends which are resurfacing into the modern fashion world.

bebe “Nadia” Metallic Trim Velvet Sandals
The bebe Nadia Metallic Trim Velvet Sandal has a luxurious appeal by which it features a staggering platform heel and metallic toned velvet and piping. These sandals resemble the Gucci heels above, and really bring on the nostalgic Hollywood glamour guise that we all crave. I am fond of the peep-toe element as it compliments both cocktail attire and can be dressed down for more casual wear. These are way more affordable than the Gucci Huston Mary Jane Pumps, plus are available in dark red, black, and taupe.

Thigh-high boots are dangerous territory because they can easily look… well, wrong. Think cheap-y and stripperish! But let’s not make a hasty judgment here because over-the-knee boots can also look super hot and fabulous. Case in point? These Christian Louboutin OTK boots. The suede tones them down while the lacing detail gives them a Victorian feel. This is thigh-high boots done right, but oh, $1.995 for a pair? I think I’ll have to pass this time!

Jeffrey Campbell “Battalion” Over-the-knee Boots
So you want Louboutin style but for less – a lot less – right? Well, worry not, Jeffrey Campbell has got you covered. Don’t be fooled though, the “Battalion” boots are still pretty pricey at $370, but you do get to save a neat $1.625 in comparison to the real deal.

This glamoruous heel by Christian Louboutin is called “Very Mix”. Can I just say I desperately would love to be in the mix and mingle in these babies! But at almost $4.000 – just not going to happen. Dammit, why do the rich chicks get to have all the fun? Thank God, Jehovah, Allah, Buddha (very p.c. around here) for knockoffs. Now we all can get into the mix with the Loubi look-a-like below.

More leopard! Are you sick of it yet? Well, I’m not, so I guess you have to stick it out with me. I mean, how am I supposed to get over this trend when people like Brian Atwood keep making such fab shoes all covered up in this wild animal print? Love, love, love these leopard booties. But a) they’re sold out everywhere and b) I wouldn’t be able to afford them even if they weren’t. Le sigh!
