Emmy Rossum

I can just imagine these dainty yet vibrant suede pumps by Christian Louboutin as part of the incredibly chic wardrobe of Doris Day’s Character, Jan Morrow, in the 1959 movie, “Pillow Talk“. She would have paired them with a matching bag and a lovely camel suit and coat. But coordinating our accessories isn’t really the style anymore, and with what you’re spending on this pair, you probably need to maximize their mileage. Not all that convinced of how often you’d wear these but love them dearly? Then snatch up our very cool steal below!

Ivanka Trump “Amoro” Pumps

I already have plans to wear these statement heels by Ivanka Trump with my jeans and white oxford skirt, my navy pencil skirt and light blue blouse, and my grey cocktail dress (which is a bit more unexpected than black)! This particular color is quite transferable, seeing how well it goes with the classic neutral shades in most of our closets. But the best part is the price! This style comes in an array of different colors and finishes, so go ahead and get a neutral pair as well.

J.Crew “Mona” Suede Pumps

One of our loyal readers, Patience, has given us heads-up about another great Louboutin alternative which is available at J.Crew. The “Mona” pump is a little more expensive, but the fun colors (e.g. yellow) make more than up for it I think.

So you might already know about my love for all things Prada and if you’ve been following this blog for a while you’ll probably also know that I’m big, really BIG, on the leopard trend (which is still going strong these days). Hence my obsession with these leopard-printed Prada platforms shouldn’t come as a surprise to you. These heels are absolute head-turners and all what’s needed to make a monochrome outfit pop. Just look at Emmy Rossum rocking her Pradas with leather skinnies, a white blazer and a neon yellow purse. Doesn’t she look amazing? Now even if you were willing to spend a fortune on a pair of shoes, it’s too bad, but they’re long gone and all sold out.

However, this ain’t a reason to give up on a pair of fabulous leopard platforms à la Prada. Enzo Angiolini “Farrel” pumps will give you the same wild look but for a much smaller investment. Who can say no to leopard shoes at that price level? I know I can’t.

Two things a girl like me needs in her life: an Aston Martin and these fly a$$ “Aston” heels by Jimmy Choo! And all would be right in the world. Sadly, I haven’t saved over a $100k for said car ($99,999 to go) and these heels are sold out! So what’s a high heel loving, shopaholic, wanna-be-fly-all-the-time girl to do, in the interim about these heels?

A. Marinelli “Saute” Sandals

You go in search of a designer knockoff, of course! And look what A. Marinelli has cooked up. Or should I say, sautéed. His Saute sandal (available in natural and black) is missing the beautiful patent leather 5 inch heel; nor does it have the same nude color. But whether grilled, roasted or baked, for only $100 bucks you settle and keep saving your money for whatever luxury car and other designer heels you wish for.

Sometimes Express can surprise you with super flirty floral print dresses. I’m totally loving this look and I LOVE it with the wide black belt! I’m also really in love with Emmy Rossum‘s look. I could do without her sunglasses as she kind of looks like a bumble bee, but nonetheless I’ll definitely classify this as four stars. So, below you’ll find our look on the budget. And take note in the look 4 less it is the exact dress that Emmy Rossum is wearing! So don’t forget your hobo bag and get this fantastic look… 4 less of course. :)

It’s lust at first sight! I love the color and the gold hardware on this Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag! I suppose us SD girls share similar taste! Rebecca Minkoff was also born and raised in San Diego, CA and you won’t catch not one celebrity not sporting this super fab bag! The Morning After Bag is the perfect size and it essentially comes in any color your heart desires! Priced at $525 it’s not the most priciest bag I’ve ever seen, but if you want something a little more affordable here is a second option…
