I have to admit this ain’t my best budget look in terms of the “budget” part; because this outfit sums up to a whopping $357.70. However, each item is rather affordable on its own, so I figured I’d still publish it as a “Budget Look“. For the styling part of this outfit I’m quite proud of myself. I know self-praise is socially frowned upon, but I can’t help but keep staring at my own creation here. I’d love to wear this look head-to-toe, it’s quintessentially what I’d call a typical cruise look: a crisp white dress, oversized shades, turquoise accessories with gold accents, summery wedges, fun nail polish and a little bronzer to round it off. What do you think of it?
While doing my daily web browsing I discovered this beautiful draped dress at GoJane and decided I would do a budget look around it. It’s a very matchy-matchy, super girly approach, but I really like the femininity and delicacy of the outfit. The whole look would cost you a very fair $126.70.

First let me start off by saying that I really, really love cobalt blue. It’s such a flattering, deep and intense color. Another thing I also really, really love are shift dresses. For me, they’re infinitely feminine and elegant. Upon browsing NORDSTROM’s newest arrivals today I discovered this cobalt blue shift dress and it was all over for me. I was obsessed. So much that I had to create a budget look around this dress. I know the red bowed accessories might be a little too matchy-matchy for some of you, but I find it kind of charming in this case. Let me know what you think.
It’s all about military style this fall. Balmain started it, Burberry Prorsum refined it and the rest came along. Now we’re seeing tons of army green chinos, studded combat boots and military jackets. If you’re loving this trend, but don’t have the cash to follow into Balmain’s footsteps, here’s a budget-friendly outfit I created with all items being available at Charlotte Russe. The total cost of this outfit sums up to a fair $137 and quite frankly I’m a little proud of myself. I’m especially loving the boots here.
