I know many of you are already preparing for the fall season (fashion-wise and mentally), but I’m not quite done with summer yet. Especially not with summer’s soft and fun side: light, pastel color palettes, armless tops, short shorts and naked toes. Oh how I’m gonna miss all that in the next 6-9 months! So before I can dive in to fall fashion, I had to farewell summer with one last imaginary outfit. What do you think? Do you like it?

Can you believe half of the year has almost already gone by? Time flies, my friends, and summer has officially arrived – at least in our calendars! In order to celebrate the seasonal change, I created my first 2015 summer budget look to properly welcome the season of pool parties, BBQs, tan lines and cool drinks. For this look I took to the summer sky as my source of inspiration: baby blue with a little bit of cloudy white here and there and splashes of summery yellow everywhere in between.

Alright, I’ll admit it: I will officially love cobalt blue and stripes until the day I die! There’s just no way I could ever let go of these two personal faves of mine. When I recently browsed through Nordstrom’s newest arrivals the cobalt blue hobo bag and pants by Halogen instantly caught my eye and before I knew it I was already imagining an outfit around those items with stripes being a major part of this look, of course. Well, you know what they say: “If you can’t beat them, join them.” – which is exactly what I did. What do you think of my blue crush outfit?

Felt like doing a new budget look today. And as you can see I’m still very much in love with the “striped crop top meets fitted skirt meets nude ankle strap heel”-thing. Sorry, can’t help it, it just makes such a stylish and flattering combination I think. This time I added a couple of turquoise accents to liven up the outfit. Do you like it?

I know pencil skirts aren’t the most comfortable to wear and that crop tops aren’t to everyone’s taste as well, but personally, I do love the concept of both. Especially when put together. So when I spotted this gorgeous white lace pencil skirt at Topshop I knew I had to pair it with the lovely striped crop top I’ve seen the day before. A little red bag, nude heels, a dramatic cat eye and a few glitzy accessories finish off my springy budget look. Do you like it?
