OK, some might be turned off by the white stitching, but make sure to check out the other 6 colors including cream (!), nude and pewter which are my favorites and you’ll see why $130 seems like a reasonable price for such a well-made Chanel look-a-like.

ALDO Bargen Quilted Handbag

Until you have enough pocket change for the real deal, you might want to settle for a less pricier version first. This quilted flap bag by Aldo certainly meets the criteria. Now don’t expect the same delicate quality of a real Chanel because there is simply no competition. But if you want an affordable alternative this bag is probably your best bet. It does have silver hardware instead of gold and it doesn’t have the cute CC clasp (which the original 2.55 bag however didn’t have as well by the way), but everything else is quite identical.

The Rebecca Minkoff Boyfriend Crossbody Bag is very in right now, as it is the It bag making its appearance among quite a few celebrities. The hardware inspired embellishments along with the chained strap add a touch of masculinity but in a feminine way. It’s the perfect size if you’re on the go, or it can be simultaneously transformed into a clutch for a night out of town look. I especially love the military green color Shenae Grimes and Ashley Greene are sporting, too bad it’s $295.

Many people and celebrities alike have that specific “out-the-door handbag” which is often both fashion forward and easy to carry around. Currently trending is this Metal to the Petal Flap Pouchette by none other than the cross-body handbag specialist Marc by Marc Jacobs. It’s everything that I could possibly desire in a handbag; featuring gold embellishments and being the perfect size whether I’m leaving out the door or preparing for a grander event. Unfortunately, the price of $248 is simply too expensive for me, thus we have a great alternative which is both chic and budget-friendly.

ASOS has always been one of my favorite stores because I can always find what I need for a lesser price and the clothing is still very stylish. Confirming that theory is this Bird Across Body Bag. Though it’s slightly different than the Marc by Marc Jacobs cross-body bag above, it still features similar ornamentation like the bird appliqué and gold hued embellishments. Besides the more affordable price of $35.81, it is available in mint green and lilac.

Oh my, it really is December, isn’t it? The end of the year is approaching fast. Time to kiss 2011 goodbye with a last kickass Shopbop monthly wish list. While I do love christmas I generally prefer warm weather seasons much more than the winter so the first 3 items reflect how much I’m longing for spring to arrive already! I’m also a sucker for anything tortoise, so, of course, I couldn’t pass on the classic Nixon watch. The black/gold mini dress would make the perfect New Year’s Eve dress, don’t you agree? It also reminds me of Gucci’s S/S 2012 collection theme. And how cute is the pink Marc by Marc Jacobs wallet? My current one is falling apart and I’m looking for a stylish quality replacement to last me for the next few years. And finally, the last row represents what I’d love to wear for christmas – an obligatory red dress with a cute gold bow necklace and emerald drop earrings to go with. Super pretty, right?

So in terms of fame, talent and celebrity status Kristin Cavallari might be totally irrelevant and overrated, but I have to admit I do like the way she dresses. For example, I love the look Kristin recently sported while making her way to the LAX airport. Big shades, carrying the iconic Rocco satchel by Alexander Wang, black skinnies paired with suede high heel booties, an oversized cardi and an animal print snood to cozy up with when the overenthusiastic A/C starts blowing your way on the plane. Casual and comfy yet still totally stylish. A+ for travel chic!
