Budget Look – Cozy Meets Elegant by BP.

by Irina on November 5, 2015

Today I felt like doing a new budget look after seeing so many gorgeous (and budget-friendly) fall staple pieces by BP. at Nordstrom. I didn’t follow a predetermined concept on this one, but simply put together what I thought would look great together. And if you’re an avid reader of this blog, you will easily recognize a lot of designer inspiration in many of the pieces shown below. We have some Burberry, Chanel, Isabel Marant and Michael Kors inspirations going on in this look. So what do you think? Did I do a good job on this one? Can you see yourself wearing this outfit?

I love cat-eye sunglasses and I also love Tom Ford. So, here’s a vintage-style pair of sunnies created by Mr. Ford thats look like it came straight out the 50s! While I personally find the high pointed cat-eye shape a little too extreme to rock them myself (these kind of sunnies make my face look incredibly mean and grumpy), with the right styling and outfit I think these could make a bold yet classic statement, Mad Men style. Just look at how the celebs were rocking their Nikita sunglasses and you’ll see what I mean.

When scouring the big interwebs for designer dupes I automatically stumble upon many great budget finds that aren’t designer-inspired (or at least not that I would notice) and hence don’t get the same attention and love on this blog as the steal finds which, of course, is a shame. That’s why I like to occasionally highlight my favorite budget finds from time to time. ‘Nuff said, enjoy my list and let me know if you have any must-have adds of your own.

We haven’t had a sunglass post in a while, so here you go! Have I ever told you that I’m quite fond of cat eyes and tortoise when it comes to sunglasses? So naturally, I’m a little obsessed with these two-tone sunnies by Kate Spade. But since I have already about a gazillion pair of sunglasses at home, there’s absolutely no way I’d spend $170 on yet another pair.

Fantas Eyes “Witch” Cat-Eye Sunglasses

While doing my daily blog research I stumbled upon these lovely cat-eye sunglasses by Fantas Eyes and they instantly reminded me of the Kate Spade pair above. However, these are $22 only and you know what? I think I even like this steal deal more than the real deal. How about you?
