I’m not very aware of who Bella Thorne is (apparently she’s an actress, dancer, singer and model who rose to fame through the Disney Channel), but she certainly caught my attention when she wore a beautiful emerald green satin romper by Valentino to the Nickelodeon’s 27th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards recently which radiated against her soft flowy flame-red hair. Bella completed her look with gold accessories and matching pumps by Christian Louboutin. What an outfit, huh? I love every detail about it! Now I tried to find anything remotely similar to the emerald green satin romper, but unfortunately wasn’t successful in my quest. However, I then accidentally came across this super gorgeous bow wrap mini dress by Katie Ermilio and instantly had to think of Bella’s green Valentino romper. It certainly is a far cry from being affordable at $2.250, but I liked the dress so much I had to include it here anyway. What do you think? Hot or what?

Can we take a short moment here and gush a bit about the amazingness that was Elie Saab’s gorgeous S/S 2014 collection? It was such a beautiful and outstanding collection; there’s not one single thing I wouldn’t love wearing from that collection. I especially loved the floral print pieces like the cute little white shift dress with the floral print on the bottom below. Such a lovely dress, don’t you agree? So imagine my delight when I spotted an almost identical frock at Choies for a steal price of under $40! I instantly had to recreate Elie Saab’s runway look on a budget level, do you like it?

You might know of my weakness for anything striped, but striped sunglasses? That was new even to me, the stripe freak. I can’t rememeber having seen a pair like these round striped sunnies by House of Holland before. And I must say: I like them! Sure, they’re definitely not for the faint of heart and require a lot of confidence to be worn out in public. But if you’re bold and daring enough, I totally think you should rock them. That is, if you have $250 ready and available to spend on them, of course.

I am currently totally crushing on everything black and white. I also happen to have a total crush on the beautiful Annabelle from the fabulous personal style blog VIVALUXURY. And one of her recent monochrome outfits. I mean, how amazing does she look here? So seductive yet still very classy and elegant. Absolutely love the look! That’s why I decided to recreate it for you on a budget-friendly level. What do you think of my style blogger look for less? Did I nail it?

We’ve featured quite a few Michael Kors watches on this blog already and I must admit that I still kind of crave one even though I haven’t bitten the bullet yet and invested in one. But seeing how lovely Wendy’s watch looks on her wrist with a little bit of arm candy, makes me want to buy one even more. But $250? That’s quite a commitment and I’m usually not the type who spends much on accessories like watches or jewelry.

Topshop Chunky Strap Watch

If you’re like me and like the look of the Michael Kors watch but don’t want to spend so much money on it, here’s a great alternative I found at Topshop. Their chunky strap watches – available in gold or silver tone – have a very similar look yet retail for only a fifth of the original’s price.
