I’ve come to know Alice + Olivia as an upper class knockoff brand. Each season the designer duo gets inspired by ultra high-end labels such as Balmain, Lanvin & Nina Ricci for example. Then mass retailers get inspired by Alice + Olivia designs and knock them off as well. The circle of (fashion) life I guess. This dress however appears to be an original design. It’s a super flirty frock with a bit of a nautical edge to it. Love the dress, hate the price!

Seriously, can LuLu*s get any better? God, I just adore their dupe of the Alice + Olivia dress. It’s almost identical! And the $55 price tag is absolutely fantastic! I’ve seen this dress sell out once already, so if you like it, make sure to buy it soon. It’s available in either black/rose (pictured) or taupe/white.

The steal version is so cute and it looks exactly the same as the designer! I want this dress so bad.. too bad I can’t justify even spending $47 bucks on the dress, even after the 15%. (Yes, I’m a super frugalista.)
