It really takes a lot these days to get me excited over a shoe. Yes, I still consider myself a shoe fanatic, but once you’re cruising the web 24/7 looking out for the newest trends and hottest knockoffs, it kind of gets repetitive after a while. Of Alexander McQueen shoes I will never grow tired of. At least I won’t if Sarah Burton, who’s now in charge as lead designer, will stay true to McQueen’s legacy. Just look at these stunning fold-over canvas boots and you’ll know what I mean. I don’t see boring shoes coming from that label anytime soon.

Wifky Studded Platform Ankle Boots

Wifky is one of those many Asian brands carried by YesStyle which is specialized in Asian fashion. Normally I refrain from posting any knockoffs from there because a) there are just too damn many of them and b) because the quality seems to be lacking sometimes. Not in this case though. If you head over to the product page you’ll see close-up shots of these McQueen doppelgängers which will show really amazing quality shoes. Go and see yourself!

  • It looks to me that Yesstyle put the pictures of real McQueen’s shoes on their site instead of their knockoffs. So basically you have no idea how their shoes look like.. Reminds me a bit of all those fake Louboutins..

  • Hey Tali, I definitely agree that the Wifky heels need a second take to tell the difference, but if you look at the stitching in the back of the shoe you’ll see the difference.

  • Irina, thanks for the explanation! The stitching is indeed difficult to see.. it’s a perfect copy! I got totally confused by the skull on the zipper.. Didn’t think they’d copy the skull as well!

  • Aileen

I have a confession to make;) After reading your blog on McQueens shoes, I ordered a pair and they just arrived today. They are exactly the same as shown in the pictures. The only difference difference are the back stitchings and there is no shoe tongue on this pair. I bought a size 240 (US 7) and it ran slight large. A 235 would have fitted just right. Nevertheless, I’m pretty happy with it:)

  • Natalia

i am really tempted to order those puppies! so cute! i also saw another knock-off on DSW, called Zigo Soho Miranda Bootie. they have them in green and tan. not as clean of a copy as Wifky, but the idea is the same.

  • Thank you so much for posting the Liliana Jamsie-6 Peep-toe Zipper Booties as a knock-off. They look really edgy yet glamorous and feminine.

I adore how Carine and Beyoncé wore the Alexander McQueens by the way. ☺

    xoxo Sophia
