If you’re looking for a sexy pair of black high heels, these Sergio Rossi zip back sandals might be what you’re looking for. The criss cross straps add interest while the zipper that goes all the way down to the heel will grant you some “Ooooh!” and “Aaaah!” moments from fellow shoe aficionados.

Jessica Simpson “Deluth” Pumps
Every second shoe style from Jessica Simpson’s shoe line is basically a knockoff. The “Deluth” pump is no exception. The heel might be thicker, but other than that they look almost like the Sergio Rossi back zip sandals.

Mossimo Vanya Strappy Pump
I found these knockoffs by Mossimo via The Look 4 Less (a great budget fashion blog). They miss the back zipper detail and the heel is pretty chunky, but they are a good Sergio Rossi alternative if you’re on a tight shoe budget.

Oli Zip Back Crossover Sandals
All European fashionistas (especially my British readers) can now also enjoy a great deal by opting for these sweet Sergio Rossi knockoffs from Oli. Available in either black or pale pink for £25.

Style Berry Cross Strap Sandals
UPDATE: I have just found another pair of Sergio Rossi knockoffs. These here retail for $60 and also come in black, but I really love them in beige actually. They do have the zipper detail on the back, but like with all the other knockoffs it’s not going down the heel unfortunately. They are still a great alternative and affordable, too.

Real vs. Steal – L.A.M.B. Joelle Open-Toe Booties
UPDATE: This post has been updated on February 28, 2010. Scroll down to see the new add.
I love me a good open-toe boot and these booties by L.A.M.B. certainly fit into what I’d consider a lustworthy must-have for transitional weather. The price tag however would put quite a dent into my wallet and that’s just not acceptable for me. Good thing we have the Internet to roam for affordable alternatives.

P.S.: Also available at Heels.com, Endless & Piperlime

Dollhouse “Burkenna” Ankle Boots
Now I know these booties by Dollhouse are not open-toe as the L.A.M.B. ones, but the stud and grommet details look almost the same. They also retail for a whole lot less than the originals and therefore are a great alternative if you’re looking to save some cash for the upcoming christmas craze.

In Kristin Cavallari’s Closet – Naven Party Dress in Pop Pink
Even though it was Kristen Bell’s moment to shine at the When in Rome Premiere back in January, it was Kristin Cavallari who stole her thunder by donning an attention-grabbing hot pink bubble-hem dress by up-and-coming designer twin duo Naven. I really like this standout look and Kristin’s makeup is absolutely gorgeous here. The reality TV star perfectly accessorized her pink frock with a pair of lustworthy Christian Louboutin Catenita cork sandals. I’d so kill for her toned legs!

Oh, Christian Louboutin, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. This man was born to make women happy… with shoes. Whatever he comes up with, it’s almost guaranteed to become a must-have – wanted and coveted by women all over the world. This petal sandal below is one of his rather classic designs and still there’s something striking about it. That inexplicable je ne sais quoi.

The petals are slightly less voluminous on these sandals, but everything else looks almost identical (minus the red signature sole). And isn’t the fuchsia version to-die-for? They have also a gorgeous purple satin version that you should check out. Other color options are ivory, bronze and silver.

Real vs. Steal – Giuseppe Zanotti I96070 Zipper Booties
UPDATE: This post has been updated on February 28, 2010. Scroll down to see the new add.
Back in October we received a reader request from Yolanda who was looking for a more affordable version of Giuseppe Zanotti’s I96070 Zipper Booties.
Hi In Their Closet Team,
I have a request to find a look-a-like for this bootie by Giuseppe Zanotti. I have looked high and low, and cannot find one. Thanks in advance,
Yolanda
It always bugs me big time when I can’t help our readers out immediately, but I always make sure to archive all reader request in case I’ll stumble upon a knockoff in the future.

Pink Duchess “Venus” Zipper Ankle Boots
Imagine my delight when I found these Pink Duchess booties! I instantly remembered Yolanda’s request. While these zipper booties might not be as delicate as the Zanottis their unbeatable price of $27.99 makes them an impulse purchase you won’t have to regret. Available in black, grey or brown.

Real vs. Steal – Christian Louboutin Mount Street Petal Clutch Bag
This is a first for us, guys. A feature on Christian Louboutin and it’s not about a pair of shoes! I’m going to argue, however, that his petal clutch bag is just as covet-worthy. A perfect match for Louboutin’s Mount Street heels (from 2009), this lovely, etherial clutch which is available in black or blush
will set you back about as much, which is to say more than a cool grand. As lovely as this bag is, I have to ask: who has that much to spend on a purse?

Nine West “Wenda” Feather Clutch
Enter from stage left, the Nine West Feather Clutch. Clearly, Nine West was more than a little inspired by the Christian Louboutin petal bag – and that’s good news for us! Everything about this bag is deliciously romantic and I love how it has an old Hollywood/glamour thing going on. The clutch is also available in grey and ivory and look at that price: $59! I’m picking one up now. Available in black, grey and ivory.

Real vs. Steal – Giuseppe Zanotti I90107 Gladiator Wedges
What happens when you cross two hot shoe trends like the wedge and the gladiator? You get the Giuseppe Zanotti I90107 Gladiator Wedges, of course. Giuseppe Zanotti has been cranking out some sensational shoes in the last couple of seasons, and although I’m not a huge fan of this look, this pair is very well done. They originally retailed for $550, and while they may be a couple hundred dollars less now, that’s still a considerable investment for a shoe that can only be worn during playtime, if you will.

($346.85, Endless)
P.S.: Also available at Zappos and Farfetch

Kelsi Dagger “Juno” Wedge Sandals
Wanna try the gladiator wedge look this spring? You should. There’s nothing better than fashion experiments, I say, and I don’t think you can go wrong with the “Juno” Wedge by Kelsi Dagger. It’s practically a twin of the higher-priced Zanotti wedge, and at under $150, not so hard on the wallet. Plus, doesn’t it look comfy? We all need a break from our arch-busting stilettos at some point.

Real vs. Steal – Chanel Spring 2010 Clogs
UPDATE: This post has been updated on February 27, 2010. Scroll down to see the new add.
Some shoes take time to grow on me; others I want immediately. The studded clogs from Chanel’s S/S 2010 runway fell into the latter category. I don’t know if it’s the 60s-70s clothes kick I’ve been on recently or maybe just the fact that I love how nude shoes of all kinds elongate the leg (that 4 inch heel helps too!) but I prayed to the fashion Gods above that someone would come out with a knock-off (the Chanel shoes being out of my budget and all). Usually my prayers of that kind get answered – by the Steve Maddens and Jeffrey Campbells of the world – and I was not disappointed…

UPDATE (02/27/2010): Just learned that NORDSTROM now has the JC clogs in stock now for a budget-friendly $124.95 in black and tan. These are going to sell out quick, so order straight away.
I just received these Jeffrey Campbell “Charlie” clogs (I ordered them immediately after seeing them) and I have to tell you – they’re just as fabulous as I imagine Chanel’s to be. That scary 4 inch + heel is surprisingly comfortable to walk in and I just love their retro spirit. From the chunky wooden heel to the gold studs, these are truly an excellent knock-off. And for $178 (see retailers listed below for more prices), they’re really a steal. The clogs are available in either beige, black or tan.
